Réception non accueillant, pas de sourire, non respectueux envers les clients, pas de professionnalisme, il y’a un réceptionniste qui m’a traité de bête etc.

We were truly concerned to see your rating of 30/100 and regret that your stay did not meet expectations. Once again please accept our sincere apologies for any distress caused. Every guest should feel respected and welcomed at Novotel Dubai Gold District and we are sorry that you did not have that experience. Regarding the translation incident: Thank you for your understanding that our team did not use the word “idiot.” As none of our reception staff speak French during the time of your check in and the time you visited at reception, they used Google Translate to assist you due to the language barrier. Unfortunately, the translation produced the word “idiot,” which was never our team’s intention or meaning. We deeply regret the confusion and offense this caused. We are reviewing our translation practices and providing staff training to prevent similar misunderstandings. Regarding the payment inquiry: Our team contacted you regarding the remaining balance for your booking as part of our standard hotel procedure.
