the room was quiet and nice, the stay was pleasant over all, despite there being train tracks directly behind the hotel, i heard nothing at all of that during my stay. I think the stay would have been better if parking arrangements and having no front desk staff were revised

The actual apartment was lovely -- clean, spacious and modern. The location was OK -- fairly close to where I needed to be, but a long way from dining options and general Wellington attractions. The negative was the check-in process. It took me almost 30-mins to get into the lobby -- which I managed to do only by tailgating someone else. Standing on the street, in the weather, while ringing a bell that didn't seem to work and calling a person in Auckland for help, who didn't seem able to do anything, was really unpleasant. I'm not sure what would have happened if I had been later in the evening, and there was no one around to follow in. I would not book again for this reason, as it could become a safety issue.

Worse stay ever! The mattress was hard as rock couldn't get to sleep at all, as well as the noise from the train every half an hour too an hour
