I spent five nights at the resort in October. The new space is spectacular and leans in heavily to the beauty of the surrounding mountains. This hotel must have the best views in Banff! The pool and thermal circuit is incredible - I would recommend everyone carve out a day from their stay just to relax in the pool, around the firepits, and in the sauna/relaxation spaces. The F&B is also great - Social is a vibe and Parker's an incredible dining experience. Relaxed luxury in the mountains!

the hotel and surrounding area is beautiful. Rooms were very clean anc comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only recommendation I would have is the food available in the coffee shop and bar area could use a couple of protein geared options.

Everything was great. Hotel location was nice to be away from downtown. Made is super easy with either the hotel provided shuttle or the Roam voucher. Overall staff was excellent expect for one of the bartenders in the main bar. It took 10 minutes to be helped.

Great place to stay, out of the fray of town. They offer shuttles or give you passes to use on the public bus which stops in front. Convenient want into town. Rooms were nice and roomy; great staff too!

My husband has always wanted to stay at the Rimrock, but it has always been way out of budget. However, we decidecd to splurge for 2 nights to celebrate our 25th anniversary, an our first trip without our kids. The hotel did not dissappoint. The room was beautiful, the view was spectactular and the pool/nordic spa area was phenomenal. We would happily stay at the Rimrock again if we can find room in the budget! The only downside is that there is no EV chargers for non-Tesla vehicles.

First day - go in to Banff - your shuttle bus does not turn up - waited 50 minutes - no real apology. Got back to hotel room had not been touched - told front desk and told it was a new initiative and we should have asked if we wanted room cleaned...they came about 6oopm to do it - left used glasses and didn't replenish tea coffee fully. Woken up at 6.20am by hammering from workmen in gym...could not ring down to front desk as phone in room not working...this was never fixed complained for 3 days. Manger apologised for workman. Next morning woken AT 6.30AM SPOKE TO WORKMAN HE SAID HE WAS TOLD YOU HAD A PHOTO SHOOT THAT DAY AND HE HAD TO FINISH OFF THE GYM. Last morning - woken up at 8.15am with drilling - so loud we gave up and left. Manager at desk refunded us 1 days stay and incidentals. You missed the point - we had booked for 3 day luxury stay - absolutely terrible - left exhausted from lack of sleep and so upset - this should have been lovely - it wasn't.

Rimrock is in a great location just outside Banff with stunning views. We had a spectacular suite overlooking the valley. The suite was beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfortable. We’d definitely visit again if in Banff.

Your hotel is lovely. The service was great and the decor and attention to cleanliness superb. For us however there were a few drawbacks. The beds are way too soft and the music in all public spaces way too loud and often of a less than relaxing nature. The location, while beautiful, was a bit cumbersome as there was no place to take a stroll or really enjoy the outdoors in any meaningful way without traveling a steep road. Sorry, but these are our honest opinions.

Hotel room is clean and staff are very helpful. Everyone is nice! Love the view by the hotel and it's a walking distance to the Gondola!

Although I am an All Accor member, I received none of the advertised privileges like upgrades. The room was well-appointed, and beautifully laid out, although the temperature controls were unruly. Front desk and valet staff were excellent, but your on-line presence is terrible. I tried to make a booking for Eden, which has closed, so was directed to the other restaurant. First a booking was made, then I was sent an email that it was cancelled and another was made for the next night, and it required that I phone the hotel and speak to a person before the muddle was rectified. The table, service, and food in the evening at Parker's Table were good, but did not compare to Eden. The breakfast next morning tasted like it was made of plastic -- it had no taste at all. The omelettes were absolutely dead, and the fruit had travelled from the underworld. We expect better. Your staff are accommodating and excellent, but will you be able to retain them if the rules about international workers come about?

My parent and I got married in Banff and stayed at the Rimrock. Everyone was very lovely and extremely helpful on the big day. Hair and makeup was done in the room and they were very helpful with finding a tall chair, steamer, and kind enough to offer us a complementary bottle of champagne.

What we loved: The staff were exceptional. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was warm, professional and attentive. On service alone, this is a 10 out of 10. What we didn't: Before booking, we confirmed that our Vista View suite had a private terrace, because being outside was the reason for our trip. The terrace was dirty, and construction next door made it nearly unusable during the day. The suite itself wasn't finished. There was unpainted trim, the shower and tile work were poor, and the toilet was installed so close to the wall you had to sit sideways. Early one morning the heating and air system cycled on and off, then filled the room with a strong cooking smell that kept us awake. We also paid a resort fee while the pool, bathhouse and wellness areas were all closed, plus separate charges for parking. At roughly $3,000 a night, the room and its value didn't come close. We wrote to the General Manager about these issues on September 15 and followed up on September 24, but so far we've only received an automated reply. We'd happily come back once the renovation is truly complete.

Overall stay was very good. The property is beautiful and staff were all very friendly. Looking forward to the pool being open next time!

The facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It would have been nice to have the spa onsite. The food however was average. Lunch and dinner menus were not to our taste, room service menu was limited and breakfast buffet was average.
