We were part of the Canadian Rocky Mountaineer Group. Most people on this group are older. We are in our 70s. Our room's layout was such that one side of the bed had the distance of a cell phone between it and a heavy sofa. (I have a photo that I will share with Rocky Mounaineer) It was difficult to maneuver especially during the night. The signage was poor -Names of rooms without explanation. My bathroom door knob fell off (thankfully the door was ajar), I reported it, told it would be fixed, we were gone all day and when we returned it immediately fell off again.

Family end of summer/ before college trip We got rooms next door. Had breakfast in the market daily. Took the free roam transit picking up outside the hotel to Downtown for dinner and ice cream every evening. 5 min walk to hot springs, 8 min walk to gondola. Beautiful and new property. Clean and cozy. 2 minor notes: thermostat is locked so it was warm to sleep and the lighting is too low. I understand they are going for cozy-wood look, but some spots were too dark to even read our tickets in the hallways.
