We booked a 2 bed and sofa room Gold level. It was worth every penny. Ritender and Mitch were helpful with hotel info, bear spray loan along with instructions! The lounge’s breakfast and canopes were delicious—they had all you could want. The gentleman making omelets was very kind and eager to help.

This was a wonderful experience. Our room was on the lake side. What an incredible view to wake up to! Every member of the staff with whom we interacted, without exception, was incredibly courteous and kind to us. We had a strange thing happen when we arrived. It was between 1830 and 1845 on June 16th. We arrived on a bus following a tour and were the last ones off the bus.. We would have asked for help with the bags, but there was only one bellman outside and he was tied up trying to assist a driver who wanted to park. We nested our suitcases and dragged them to the door. The doors next to the revolving door required a key card to enter, which we didn’t yet have. If the revolving door is motion activated it was deactivated so we dragged our stacked suitcases through the door which was an incredible chore. The door was very difficult to push and was very hard to get through while dragging the bags. In hindsight, we should have waited for the bellman to be available or one of us should have gone inside to request assistance, but we were tired and thought that we could get through until we actually got into the door. It was an uncomfortable and frustrating event, but we shook it off, got over it, and had a most memorable and beautiful stay.

3 nights that allowed hiking and some day trips; loved hiking the lake edge in the early morning. Choice of restaurants was good though meals were very pricey.

This was our first trip to Banff, and I was so excited that we would be staying at a Fairmont hotel—our family’s favorite hotel brand wherever we travel. Since this was a last-minute trip, I carefully planned everything around my son’s busy to-do list. However, I later realized that I had accidentally booked the Fairmont in Banff instead of the Fairmont at Lake Louise. It was quite a stressful moment, and I wasn’t sure how we would fix it. Thankfully, "Jay" from Fairmont Global Reservations went above and beyond to help us. Thanks to her kindness and professionalism, my son and I were able to enjoy an amazing and memorable first trip to Banff. We are truly grateful for her outstanding support. One of the things we love most about Fairmont hotels is the Gold Lounge experience. Every property offers the same exceptional level of service, yet each one has its own unique charm and character. Discovering those differences is always part of the fun for us. Fairmont continues to be one of our favorite hotel collections, and after this wonderful experience, I am already excited to see which Fairmont destination we will explore next this summer. Thank you for helping make our trip so special!
