Overall stay was very good. The property is beautiful and staff were all very friendly. Looking forward to the pool being open next time!

The facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It would have been nice to have the spa onsite. The food however was average. Lunch and dinner menus were not to our taste, room service menu was limited and breakfast buffet was average.

Excellent service in a beautiful setting Everything was fantastic - my mom and I enjoyed our stay. The space is thoughtfully designed and the people made the trip extra special. The expeditions team helped us map out each day, Joseph the shuttle bus driver between was incredibly kind, and Patrick made us feel at home. We can’t wait to come back.

Thank you for the opportunity to comment on our recent stay at the Rimrock Banff. We cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional experience we enjoyed in every segment of the hotel. The staff is top-notch: from the personal welcome we received at the valet and check-in, to the gorgeous views from our comfortable room, the delicious breakfast we enjoyed each morning, and the incredible location. It was perfection all around. It was a true joy to stay at such a wonderfully run hotel. Many thanks to the incredible team for making our stay one for the books.

Everything was great, the staff are friendly and so helpful, Patrick at the desk was the best! Our excursion driver Connor was also amazing. Small issue with our room’s bathrooms, but that was very minor and the hotel was very accommodating.

Parker’s table was the biggest letdown of the trip. Menu lacks flavour and table service was not on par with other Accor locations like Fairmont. Specifically, both the chicken and halibut were overcooked and the sauces were bland. This made us feel a huge disconnect between pricing and the overall dining experience. We understand that the hotel has undergone significant change recently. Please take this as constructive feedback. All other amenities - such as the listening room and bar were consistent with the experiences at other hotels like Fairmont.

Hi, I had booked Rimrock for an anniversary trip with my wife. We chose the property based on the recommendation of another Fairmont property (which we are very loyal to). Unfortunately, Rimrock still has a lot of work to do before they can uphold the reputation of the Fairmont. There was a brand photoshoot happening in the bar upon our first night, giving us a poor first impression and making us feel like we shouldn't be there.. The pool and spa was still under construction, which if we had known about, we would've gone elsewhere. There was quite a bit of noise coming from the construction in the morning hours, creating unease. Overall, it seemed like the the hotel was not ready for guests and we felt like it wasn't worth the price. Lastly, the team wasn't willing to honor our All Accor loyalty program, provide an upgrade for our status, or give us points on our stay since it was booked through Chase. We had just stayed at Fairmont Pacific Rim and the opposite was true, so I'm not quite sure why there's a double standard.

The property was recently renovated. The physical grounds are beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. Most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. From the moment we stepped onto the property until the moment we left we felt welcome and wanted. The property is a little bit removed from Pam village, but the public transportation and hotel transportation are very convenient. The properties walking distance to the gondola.

The newly restored Rimrock was a pleasant resort to stay at for several days. The service and coordination leading up to the stay was delightful. On point -- how all places should operate -- with an attention to details. At the hotel, it was a slightly different experience. It was most evident, at front desk, that it was not a well oiled machine. Same for the employees outside of the hotel. They all mill around trying to avoid the attention of incoming guests. The staff looked either overwhelmed, deer caught in headlights, or unhelpful but pasting a cheerful smile on anyways. It gets noisy at the front desk and the employees speak at a whisper. I finally figured out that they are not your best people to go to for questions -- the folks in the shoppe are -- they are informative, clear, helpful, and solutions oriented. The folks in the cafe were helpful as well -- my kettle wasn't working properly and they were helpful in providing me with cups of hot water to make tea in my room as well as providing me with creamer. My reservation at the Listening Room was mysteriously cancelled. I didn't bother to rebook. The restaurant was also running off the tracks -- it took 20 minutes to serve my drink and another 20 minutes between my finishing my appetizer and finally having my main course served. Perhaps Rimrock is still working out things after reopening? I had hoped for something more in proportion to what I paid.

1. Original room - peak view was highly obscured by frosted glass that covered 3/4 of the windows. For the price we paid, that is unacceptable. You should disclose that views may be obscured. 2. Was offered a better room but also had to pay quite a bit more since “nothing else was available,” which I question because the hotel didn’t seem full. The new room was nice, but was in need of repairs with some unpainted sheetrock, etc. 3. If your amenities are expected to be open by September, as your website indicated, and they aren’t, you shouldn’t hold guests to a 30 day cancellation window. 4. The location is not great due to the amount of gondola traffic and construction. 5. Don’t send me an email asking if we are celebrating anything (we were) and then turn it around and use that to sell me a room that is “only $700 more per night.” Even a happy anniversary note would have been nice or a special token. The whole experience made me think you were only interested in the upsell. I’ll be back to Banff, but won’t stay here again. The price we paid was not worth it. I’ll stay at the Fairmont instead. I’m not putting a title on this so that the feedback can stay private since I know you are relaunching, but this hotel was the biggest disappointment of our trip.

Newly renovated, the Rimrock is a beautiful hotel. The staff are great, friendly, professional and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The restaurant is top end, great view and excellent food

Despite having discounted rates due to construction, this location still has a lot of growing to do. The staff are unsure of how things work and most areas are still inaccessible. The vinyl lounge was beautiful but we weren’t allowed to use it despite them having private functions occasionally. We put the do not disturb sign on our door but house keeping still came in. Phone in the room didn’t work and our toilet seat was crooked. All small things but they add up, especially at the rate charged. Can’t beat the view from this hotel though and all the staff were very nice - I’m sure they will grow into a better groove soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rimrock hotel. Our room was very comfortable, the facility were great and the staff all friendly and helpful.
