The only thing that could be improved is some kind of notification of the breakfast buffet. We had gotten up early, and did not notice the buffet. There was no sign as well. We were seated at a table and given a menus, and there was no mention of the buffet in the menue.

Loved the view from our window. Also, you upgraded us at no charge to a large suite, which was great! Also enjoyed easy access to the shuttle bus which allowed us to visit downtown Banff.

We stayed at the Rimrock Resort Hotel as part of a Rocky Mountaineer tour. The property was spectacular, the room was spacious and had a great view. The serene surroundings and quiet atmosphere more than offset the minor inconvenience of being located outside of downtown Banff. The shuttle busses ran regularly and were a convenient way to get into town and back to the Resort.

Hotel had definitely seen better days rooms dark and tired with little room to move around in. If we had known hotel was fully closing (on day we left!) for total refurbishment we would never have booked but all we were made aware of was spa treatments not being available. Viewing scaffolding rather than mountains at breakfast was not what we had hoped for!
