Every human need and comfort was met, and then some. Your staff were excellent examples of what true hospitality is. However I have a deep concern about the considerable light pollution in your area and its impact on birds - I witnessed myself the quantity of light coming into my bedroom and that birds were chirping all night completely opposite of their natural behavior. This causes huge physiological stress (I have completed 7 years of graduate and postgraduate studies in this field), as their energy reserves are depleted in the same way that a human suffering insomnia experiences. This will, without any doubt, prevent them from fighting off infections & disease and pursuing their natural behaviors essential for successful reproduction and rearing of offspring. So basically you are condemning the bird populations in the area to extinction. A protected nature reserve... which brings me to how much water you use to fill and replenish all the pools - there is no way that this wouldn't deplete groundwater reserves within 5-10 years. Do you treat and recycle the water??? I come from British Columbia, Canada, where there is so much fresh water everywhere, and I felt VERY uncomfortable with what I was seeing. I had a beautiful hydrotherapy bath/jacuzzi in my room, but didn't use it for 9/10 days I stayed with you. Just filling it took 30 minutes. Do any of the other guests who stay in these apartments give the same consideration to all this? I think not, as very few have cared enough to study the natural world and how we impact it. This type of development should have been stopped *everywhere* decades ago. Please wake up and make changes now.
