I had the pleasure of staying at this Mercure twice and both times were exceptional. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, the rooms were extremely well-appointed, and the restaurant had an excellent breakfast as well as great options for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. The location for the conference I was at was great but even better it was close to a street with all the restaurants including a hidden gem of a restaurant in the garden of an office block. The prices were very reasonable and I would never hesitate to recommend a stay here. From the smallest rooms to the largest suite, this hotel is worth booking every time.

Good welcome, nice room, it was clean and well appointed. Lift very small and slow. Breakfast was disappointing. When large group in they took over the place, no seats, and staffing could not cope.

Initially l was assigned a room on top floor 7, which sounded good at the start, but then the only issue is the ceiling of the top levels room have slopping ceilings that effectively stake valuable space for the ceiling.The slanting roofreducoes the height of the actually roof and one ends uo hitting his head a couple of time.I need lots of working desk space, but again the starting ceiling took away the full potential meaning you ned to deal with a compact work station, Management handle my ceiling heights problem, swiftly and assisted with the move, exchange new access keys,,,that part went vey smooth, Room on level 3, although much lower, was far more practical. House cleaning were always very eager to have your room services, and would approach us daily to see if we need anything, They were splendid. A very annoying sound emanating from the casing of the air conditioner box, It seemed to be laying being a silver plate cover and annoying loud buzzing sounds could be heard throughout the day and night. It seems to be an attachment with a time that maybe sucked up water being creating from condensation, The night time noise if very annoying,as the night is very quiet and still, then your get this cheeky nasty buzzzzzzzzzz loud enough to wake you up from your slumber. I find it difficult to believe that management are not aware of this, As l mentioned this issue to the lady at check out, a gentleman behind caught wind of what we were talking about and he himself admitted he is experiencing the same annoying boxing sound. Surely management and maintenance know of this,

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was expected for a 4 star hotel. The room were very quite. Since I had a single room it small, but did have a desk in the room. The Room was the last one in the hall so the internet would disconnect my VPN a lot.

I arrived early and they managed to get me checked in early, bus station is close by. Restaurants and drink shops also. Very nice staff which made me feel welcomed, I didn’t have service outside so I asked her how I can manage to get internet outside the hotel so she told me where I can buy it. The elevator was a bit scary for me but not a problem. In general the hotel was very nice and pretty. The mattress was a bit to hard for my liking but it’s not a complaint, everyone has a different opinion. When I had to check out at around 2 am I asked the Guy at the reception if he can help me get my Old SIM card in so he did and got me a taxi which I appreciate it much! Next time when I’m in Belgarde I’ll probably come back to this hotel. Thank you for having me :))

This was our second stay at Mercure, and we had another pleasant experience. Milos, who checked us in, was friendly and professional, and it was a nice touch that he recognised us and welcomed us back. We arrived quite late at night and wanted to redeem our complimentary drinks to have some fluid for the night. However the restaurant was already closed. Milos was kind enough to check and brought us bottled fruit juice. It’s the little gestures from the staff that really make a stay special. We would certainly come back again.
