Location is perfect. Pleasant staff. Food is decent. Rooms are fine, can be noisy due to traffic. Also, you can hear your next door neighbor, walls are too thin. Mattress could be better. Internet quality is great.

Quick 1 night stay but everything was great. Decor is slightly dated but rooms are well appointed. Front desk team were excellent. Nice selection available at breakfast.

The Mercure Belgrade Excelsior is a great choice for exploring Belgrade, The friendly and helpful staff made our stay even better, providing us with a map and detailed recommendations for what to see and do in the city. The area felt safe and pleasant, making it an ideal base. The hotel itself has a charming historic vibe, with features like the old lifts adding character. However, the rooms felt a little dated, and the bathroom was quite small. While modernising might take away some of the charm, the current setup may not appeal to those looking for luxury. That said, it’s functional, and offers value for money. We didn’t use the hotel bar or restaurant, as Belgrade offers plenty of dining options nearby. The transport links were also excellent, making it easy to get around. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you value location, hospitality, and a touch of character. While it’s not a modern luxury hotel, it’s a reliable and safe option, and I’d happily return for another stay.
