I was passing through Belgrade and last minute decided to stop and visit this Beautiful city. Hotel Mercure Belgrade Excelsior was simply the perfect place for exploring Belgrade on foot. It is located minutes away from all major tourist attractions. If you are arriving with the car, there is a public garage Masarikova which is conveniently close to the hotel. Hotel Mercure Belgrade has such a kind and professional staff, it made me feel like being home, truly wonderful! Their breakfast buffet is delish, perfect way to start your morning. :)

I frequently travel to Belgrade for work and this is my favorite place to stay - close to the centre and linked with transport to all other locations in the city. Rooms are spacious, bright, clean and tastefully decorated and staff is always friendly. The location is near the Parliament, the site of frequent protests lately, so not for everyone (although I haven't experienced any disruptions myself).

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to extend our stay twice, but our bookings could not be combined. I paid for the first two nights separately. When requesting a late checkout at 5:00 PM, the front desk staff asked us to pay for all three nights on a single invoice and promised to cancel the two nights already paid (Nov 17 and 18). However, as of today, Nov 24, the first night (10,100 RSD) has still not been canceled. As an All Accor loyalty member, I am entitled to a 10% discount, which was refused when extending the reservation at the front desk — this was very disappointing. Additionally, the hotel’s elevator is very slow and only fits two people, making trips to the 4th floor inconvenient and frustrating. We hope these issues can be addressed promptly.
