We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It was the start of our 7 day Uzbekistan tour. Our stay was comfortable. We would start our day with a scrumptious breakfast. The spread was large and the made to order eggs were nicely done. A special shout out to Eliyana. She works at the front desk and was super helpful. She assisted us with the ATM, had great restaurant recommendations and even pointed out the different shopping options.

I recently stayed at the Swissôtel Tashkent and, while the hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were polite and helpful, my experience was overshadowed by repeated problems with the electronic door locks. Throughout my stay, my room key stopped working on several occasions, requiring multiple trips to reception to have it reprogrammed. I also experienced the same issue with the Executive Lounge access card, which failed repeatedly. After going to reception three times, someone finally had to accompany me and manually open the lounge door. The most frustrating incident happened on my departure day. I had dinner across the street before returning to the hotel to collect my luggage and head to the airport. When I got back to my room, my key once again wouldn’t work. I went to reception, where they sent a security employee with a master key, but even that failed to open the door. Eventually, an IT technician had to come and reset the electronic lock before I could access my room. This entire process took a considerable amount of time and caused me significant stress, as I was supposed to be already on my way to the airport. I ended up arriving only about 15 minutes before my flight, and I very nearly missed it. These recurring key and lock issues are simply not what I would expect from a five-star hotel, especially one of Swissôtel’s reputation. While I appreciated the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the facilities, the repeated failures of such a basic function had a major impact on my stay. I hope the hotel addresses these technical issues so future guests don’t have to experience the same frustration.

Suite had a construction view and on telling the duty manager about the view of dug up construction, he asked me, What else I expected from a suite view of Swissôtel. That was quite rude. On asking if the suite can be changed, they didn't change the suite, though gave me access to lounge which I thought should be given to someone who stays in a suite. Staff was good. Breakfast was brilliant. Extremely tasteful interiors and big suite but the suite just made the entire stay a bitter experience. The duty managers behavior made it worse.
