I am writing to share my feedback regarding our recent staycation at Rixos, which I visited with my husband to unwind and relax. Overall, our experience was very pleasant. We truly appreciated the welcoming ambience, high standards of cleanliness, quality of food, and the professionalism of most of your staff. These are the reasons why we chose to return to your hotel for a second visit. However, I would like to respectfully bring to your attention a few concerns and suggestions that, if addressed, could further enhance the guest experience. During one of our meals, I politely asked one of the chefs if spaghetti was available. The response I received was delivered in an impolite and dismissive manner, stating that spaghetti was not available and that I should eat what was already being served. This interaction made me feel disheartened. Later during dinner, another chef kindly prepared and personally served spaghetti to me, which I truly appreciated and which reflected the excellent service standards that Rixos is known for. The following morning, a similar situation occurred at the egg station. My husband asked for a Spanish omelette. The chef mentioned that he did not know how to prepare it and did not attempt to ask or clarify. Shortly after, I had a similar experience where I was informed in an authoritative tone that an item was not available, ending with “take your egg here.” While I understand that not all requests can be accommodated, the manner of communication plays a significant role in how guests perceive service. I would also like to suggest the importance of visible name tags for all staff. This would be beneficial both for guests and for the team, as it allows excellent service to be properly recognized and ensures that feedback is addressed fairly and specifically rather than in a general manner. Additionally, I would like to offer a suggestion regarding the pool facilities. It would be greatly appreciated if an indoor pool could be considered. As the outdoor pool opens at 10:00 a.m., the weather can already be quite hot at that time, which may limit comfort and usage for some guests. An indoor pool would provide a more comfortable option, especially during warmer hours, and would further enhance the overall staycation experience. I am sharing this feedback because this was my second stay at your hotel, and I genuinely value Rixos as a brand. My intention is not to complain, but to help ensure that all guests—regardless of nationality—are treated equally, respectfully, and with the same standard of hospitality. Above all, guests should be regarded simply as customers deserving of courtesy, comfort, and fairness. I hope this feedback will be received constructively and used to further strengthen the already excellent service standards of your hotel. Despite these concerns, we still appreciate many aspects of our stay and look forward to improved experiences in the future. Thank you very much for your time and attention.

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service provided by several of your wonderful staff members during my recent stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine helpfulness truly made my experience special and highlighted what makes your hotel stand out. • Jessica (Spa): She was incredibly helpful in assisting me with unlocking my locker quickly and efficiently. She also double-checked ownership in a subtle, respectful way—perfectly handled and much appreciated. • Yusuf (Co-Chef): Extremely helpful and polite. When I asked for sourdough bread and he wasn’t entirely sure of availability, he kindly checked and then cut some fresh pieces for me. He even prepared avocado beautifully. A young, lovely chap—easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and genuinely an asset to the hotel. It’s refreshing to interact with someone so engaging during service. • Omar Morgan (Spa): Very welcoming and patient. He guided me through the entire spa process, including the sometimes glitchy lockers (walking me through entering my own PIN precisely). Even on my second visit, he escorted me again and ensured everything worked smoothly and I felt comfortable. Wonderful conversations too—he’s truly an asset. • Mahmoud Kushshaev (Orient Restaurant): A fantastic waiter who explained everything clearly and precisely, making dishes sound delicious while carefully considering our allergens (noted from the morning). He communicated options thoughtfully, gave us space when needed, yet checked in to ensure we were happy. A wonderful young professional. • Ubaid (Housekeeping): Excellent and efficient. He kept everything spotlessly clean, always polite, opened doors without expecting thanks, and respected privacy by keeping his eyes lowered. A truly wonderful and dedicated team member. • Eastone (Front Desk): Very helpful and patient young man who assisted with our luggage, waited smiling at the door, helped load the car securely, and stored items safely in the security room. Lovely conversation, always smiling and happy—such positive energy. Your team’s warmth and attentiveness turned a good stay into an outstanding one. Please pass on my thanks to these individuals—they are real assets and a credit to Rixos Obhur Hotel. It was also nice to see no alcohol being served as well as the on-site prayer room. As a travel agent with a network of 1500+ agents and many clients I have no hesitation and already have, recommended the Rixos Obhur resort as the number one hotel and resort to stay in Jeddah.
