The stay was excellent. If there are anything that I can comment further, it will be two requests- one to improve room service food and beverage menu and also to equip room with a kettle and iron.

All though very windy, very nice location, I took an upgrade and we got a very nice room junior suite. We dined and food was very good. The maitre was very nice and competent. But overall what is always letting you down in this hotel is the service, the reception is not receiving you warmly, some waitresses are not interested in your wishes or even your smile... weird. Is it a culture thing? I don't know but from where I come we like to say hello and have a hello back... at the reception we felt like we were at some administration doing bureaucratic stuff and I believe it doesn't suppose to be like that in such a hotel. Everybody likes to feel welcome especially when you just arrived after travelling and being stuck in traffic for some time.

I loved the breakfast and the pool area - but there were a few downsides. I tried to get a massage but it was impossible during my short stay - the reception asked me to clarify with the spa directly but the spa was closed and there was no way to reserve a spot ahead. The reception also told me the wrong opening times of the spa. I tried using the sauna but it wouldn’t really reach a proper heat. Lastly, The rooms have a mechanisms to not leave the door open when the air on is on, which makes sense. When the quite intense alarm went on, I closed the door right away. But shortly after someone was trying to enter my room without knocking or checking In with me. I also felt that the price I had was an overpriced for the room (150€ for standard sea view). The receptionist asked me whether I had already paid which I’d expect them to have tracked properly and the final price was different from the reservation I had to dig up. She was able to explain it but only after I asked again. All in all a little bit too much effort and double checking required from my side. On the good side: safe, enough space, and the breakfast was lovely. Great option if you just have a layover.
