I had a long layover and decided to book the Ibis Airport Hotel. A three minute walk from the airport literally across the street. Staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. Check-in and out were quick and easy. I give my highest recommendation for this hotel!

Front desk extremely helpful

I arrived at the hotel with 2 kids and a handful of luggage. The woman at the front desk ( short hair and glasses) was extremely helpful and apart from providing a fast and very friendly check in, when she realized that my luggage would not fit in only one elevator and that my 9yr old daughter would have to go alone in the other elevator, she prompted to accompany her up and helped me with the luggage to the room.

I found the staff at ibis Recife to be completely professional and reliable. I needed some clothes cleaned, but returned earlier than noted on the paperwork. They were there early and the cleaning was what I expected. It's right across from the hotel and with plenty of taxis available right out the door.

An ok hotel very close to the airport

Beds could be better as well as the quality of the restaurant, where we had dinner. The meals are very basic and probably heated up in a microwave. The breakfast although is good. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, modern and just ok what to expect for this price category.

Good location for transit. I was originally planned to go to Fernando de Noronha on the same day. Airline GOL messed it up and I had to make one Omer night in Recife before connecting flight the day after. The bar was ok. The rooms small and nothing special.

Very good localization and very good service. Clean room and pleasent team. Food and beverages are also ok! But towels should be better... They´re small and get wet fast. After all, a good choice for travelers, since very close to the airport.

I’m very passionate about reviewing hotel experiences as I’m a Cornell Hotel School grad and worked many years in the hotel industry. So I just wanted to say that I really liked Vera and Felipe at the Front Desk, extremely friendly and helpful with my luggage that I had to store for another day after my departure. Security and greeters at the door were also helpful and attentive, always alert! But the young lady at he restaurant, although polite, could have been more friendly and more alert to what was going on around her. She may need just a bit more training to achieve Accor standards ;-) Even thought I traveled extensively in the past, I only joined the Club last week but I already have two other stays planned for the next three months. Thank you for your hospitality!
