I had a very satisfying stay at Novotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very clean. Even the superior room comes with a sofa bed, which was very convenient—for example, when I wanted to lie down for a while with my outside clothes before getting into the bed. The bathroom was modern and spacious, and the toiletries were complete and adequate. It’s a very convenient hotel for both business trips and family trips. The buffet food was also very delicious and still affordable. There were a couple of minor issues: there was a small water leak in the toilet area, and my parents’ room experienced a power outage when we were about to have sahur. However, the staff were very responsive, so the problems were resolved quickly. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay at Novotel and will definitely visit again. Good job, Novotel!

The price is very reasonable, even quite affordable considering the room is very nice, modern, and clean. It was very comfortable to sleep here, especially because the air conditioning was cold and worked well. The amenities were complete, and we were also allowed a late check-out until 1 pm. Free parking is available for guests, and the service was good. The only minor downside was that the water pressure in the bathroom was not very strong. Other than that, it was a nice experience. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Pontianak.

Dear Hotel Management, Thank you for your previous explanation regarding the missing Gold member benefits during my recent stay. However, I would like to provide a follow-up because I realized that there was *.*no compensation or alternative gesture**. offered to address the benefit that I did not receive. As an *.*Accor Gold Explorer member**., room upgrades (subject to availability) are a key benefit of the membership. During this stay, I did not receive an upgrade, and the benefits provided — such as welcome amenities and late checkout — are already *.*standard Gold-tier entitlements**., not compensations. While I understand that upgrades depend on room availability, in many Accor properties I have stayed at, the hotel usually offers: *. A courtesy gesture, *. A small alternative benefit, or *. A clearer acknowledgment of the missing upgrade, to ensure that loyal guests still feel recognized. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my visit. I value the Accor brand, and I hope that future stays can reflect better recognition of loyalty status, especially when a core benefit cannot be fulfilled. A small gesture from the hotel would go a long way in maintaining a positive guest experience and loyalty. Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.
