We had an 8 day stay here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome was good, and the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. We opted for a deluxe sea view room, for the views and it was very well equipped with a super bathroom and large walk in shower, large and comfortable bed, balcony with comfy outdoor furniture and a few helpful extras like a torch, umbrellas, daily water refreshed. To go to sleep at night hearing the sound of the sea was quite special. Outside the pool area, had several sun beds and good shade, dining on the terrace was available from breakfast to dinner and the hotel’s all day dining menu offered a very good range of quality food. Overall a very good and relaxing experience.

We stayed at Vung Tau Mercure Hotel as a family and had such a wonderful experience. The two swimming pools were amazing, especially the seawater pool, which felt refreshing and fun for both kids and adults. The private beach was clean and peaceful, and we spent a lot of time there relaxing together. What truly stood out for us was the sunset. The view was absolutely stunning, probably the most beautiful sunset in Vung Tau. Watching it from the beach and the pool area made our stay feel even more special. The staff were also exceptionally kind and attentive, which made the whole trip comfortable and easy. Our room was clean and cozy, and the location was convenient for getting around the city. Overall, it was a lovely family trip and we would definitely love to return.

We loved the location of this hotel, positioned between two parts of Vung Tau. We made the right decision in opting for a sea view room, as it had wonderful views and as we were so close to the sea, we slept hearing the waves at night. We had a longer stay than many (8 nights) and so got to know several of the team quite well. A super buffet breakfast was included, that has a huge range of options, as well as a live cooking station and on the weekend this moved outside for a traditional BBQ range of options. We dined outside on the terrace several evenings and the menu, available all day until 9.30pm was varied and good. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped, with spacious bathroom and walk-in shower, we also used the reasonable same day laundry service. Finally the pool area, especially the infinity pool, was delightful with sun beds and shade as needed.

After a last minute change of plans we booked 4 nights at the Mecure Vung Tau and it turned out to be my favourite hotel of our whole trip. The rooms, the facilities and the staff were all excellent. The highlight for me was the sound of the waves at night crashing on the shore, amazing!
