Friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a very good experience and pleasant experience aside two minor inconvenience: Not enough parking spaces and access to my room was delayed as the door's battery needed to be replaced locking.

Beautiful hotel and friendly, helpful staff. But there was no hot water upon arrival and it remained out until into the next day. The Internet went down the next evening and wasn't fixed by time I checked out. At this level of hotel, and for this price point, you need 24/7 repair people available for plumbing, electricity, connectivity. Yes, Kinshasa is a challenge. But you're a topnotch international chain, and you should plan for the worst. You planned for the best. There was no mitigation strategy beyond saying, Sorry, sorry. Cold showers and no Internet at this level accommodation in a capital city anywhere in the world is beneath international standards. Excellence requires anticipating problems ahead of time, not simply clicking into panic mode and apologizing.
