I was pleasantly surprised beyound my expectations visiting the DRC - Kinshasa for 3 weeks after experiencing at least 10 other African countries over the past 10 years. This was by far the best hotel in cleanliness, efficentcy, friendliness, and genuinely relaxing atmosphere in one of the most challenging places in Africa for a Westiner. Credit to the management and staff for creating an oasis in land faced with such hardships full of resilient people. Hoping to revisit someday again. Places like the Pullman Hotel over such hope for a people and land so rich in culture and precious minerals.

Very Pleasant Stay

Check-in was smooth. Room was a bit small but not cramped. Very clean. My room was overlooking the terrace and the pool and some part of the Congo river. This was really wonderful. There was a band which was quite loud (but played great music) and when I asked what time the band would end so that I could get a good night sleep, I was informed at 10:00 p.m. and promptly on the hour, there was peace and quite. There is a good Japanese restaurant on the 9th floor. The breakfast spread was varied and good. I also got a late check out which I appreciated a lot. Most importantly, the staff were cheerful, responsive and just plain pleasant. Very good experience over-all.

I checked in at 2.30 am, but was not allowed to extend my stay when I left after 12 noon without a lot of special pleading. Eventually I was allowed to stay until 14.00. I was annoyed when the plate of small cakes that greeted me in my room was removed by 17.00hrs, before I had even had a chance to taste anything. Two requests to have them replaced were ignored.

Nice room. Friendly staff, particularly at check-in the gentleman who showed me to my room. Also, Jacqueline the person who cleaned my room (708) during my stay. Only suggestion is to be more responsive to calls. I had to call three times to get a new box of tissues and twice to get tea.

Friendly staff members. I had an issue with payment by credit cards which complicated things a bit but apart from this, a good hotel to stay (clean and spacious room)

I will share your comments with our team. Indeed, some connection problems occur during payment. The problem can come from the hotel's connection, as well as from your bank. In the first case, we have at our disposal 3 proposals that we present to our customers, namely, at our level we change the TPE and take that of another baqnue, or we propose to the customers to pay by cash or to change card, in order, we propose to him to pass to our 4 different distributors that we have in the hotel to make a withdrawal. One of these solutions always works. Regarding our loyalty program, I invite you to always present your membership number or your email address every time you stay in our hotels, this will allow you to get points for each stay, points that you can use to pay for your accommodations and meals. Just one thing to complain about, Accor propose us to check in online, great, so we know our key will be ready on arrival and the time at the reception should be minimal. Since Kinshasa is far away the trip has been long for everybody but guess what? The keys are not ready so it takes time to check in. The staff is very friendly but it takes too long. At the end of the stay, for check out, the invoicing address has to be changed at the desk - while it was already done during the online check in....That's a great feature used everywhere in Africa (and yes also in the IBIS Douala where I was 3 weeks ago), why don't you take advantage of it? Regarding the hotel in general, nothing particular to say, friendly staff, good food, nice swimming pool, good top bar, not particularly noisy, on the expensive side but allright it's Kinshasa.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The premises are green and spacious, which was excellent for social distancing. The location was perfect for business. It was safe to jog in the morning on the road along the river. The river view from the window was breathtaking with the view of Brazzaville town - the closest two capitals in the world. Sushi on the 9th floor restaurant is probably the best in Africa. I am Japanese and I know what the good sushi is ; )
