Smooth check in.. expected the hotel to be upgraded by now though.

In the refurbished section, which was very nicely done. Staff were fairly friendly. Management was sloppy though - no answer for an hour on the room service number, room cards repeatedly stopped working, I booked an early checkin, then was told I couldn't have one, then it became available after escalating, the gym needs attention, room cleaning service only turned up in the evening, and forgot to refill things, surfaces not cleaned.

ALL status not recognised. 30 min check in (in spite of previous online checkin). I had to sleep with earplugs as my window didn't close properly. I asked twice for a solution - no room available (fair enough), but the technician never showed up. Seriously ...? There are less fancy options at a third of the price in Kinshasa that take customer satisfaction a lot more seriously.
