Jala is Vivari’s elegant glass wedding venue, surrounded by nature for a romantic celebration. The adjacent forest garden creates a beautiful outdoor chapel setting, while Jala offers a dedicated kitchen and flexible reception set-up.
Our stay was amazing, on our second visit staff recognised us and remained consistent with their wonderful service etiquette. The meals are fantastic; the facilities are better than advertised and the spa is wonderful. We are looking forward to our next visit.

What a beautiful experience.
I was treated to a weekend getaway at Vivari Hotel & Spa, and it was genuinely such a treat from beginning to end. Yes, it sits at the more premium end of the price spectrum, but in this instance, you really do feel what you’re paying for.
The service was exceptional. The staff are warm, attentive and incredibly detail-oriented — the kind of hospitality where you feel genuinely looked after, rather than serviced. They absolutely dote on their guests, and it makes the whole experience feel that much more special.
The property itself is gorgeous: sophisticated, elegant and luxurious without trying too hard or feeling gimmicky. Our suite was stunning, beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable.
We also had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and loved it — beautiful ambience, delicious food and excellent service. And the spa experience was the perfect addition to an already indulgent weekend.
Vivari gets so many of the little things right, and those little things add up to a truly memorable stay.
Definitely a splurge, but a worthwhile one. I would happily return.

From check in to check out, it was a great experience. We only had 2 weird things happen, but the staff was friendly and made up for it. The first was, we were served water instead of wine when we ordered a glass of white (they said they poured from a training bottle). The other was, we were told we could have a late checkout, but 15 mins after the regular check out time, we received a call telling us we needed to be out because a group was coming and we would be charged. So we rushed to get out, and then were told we could actually have the room late. That wasted a lot of our time and added stress to our morning before a long travel day.

It was an awesome experience. I stayed in Room 37 and i stuggled with the sound overnight coming from the laundry room. otherwise, everything esle was perfect. You've got the most awesome staff ever.

Really great food, and service from the staff.
Only area of improvement is that in the room I did not sleep at all due to the next hotels aircon going on and off the whole night including hearing their toilet flushes.
I would go back for the food! Absolutely amazing and my wife loved it as well.
Would have liked for the spa to have been opened later considering it being a Saturday.

A very pleasant experience, all the staff we passed smiled and greeted us. The room was comfortable and quiet but the atmosphere in the hotel grounds was spoiled by the loud and continuous music blaring from a loudspeaker.

The quality of the bathroom toiletries is Molton Brown how BIG can a hotel go? I felt like I was in Paris and Nikiwe Dube was such a cheery on top she went over and above to make my room great. overall stay is 10/10.
