My overall stay was not bad, being the fourth time in four weeks that I spent a couple of days in a hotel, this was second in line as the best experience. Small things that spoiled it slightly: Carpets in room looks old - not worn, maybe the style or it needs a wash. Tea and coffee facilities in room but nothing to stir it with (teaspoon or stirrers). First morning was half way through my breakfast before someone showed up in kitchen who could fry me some eggs. Food in serving dishes not watched, some empty, some dried out. No air-conditioning in restaurant area making it warm and uncomfortable. The age of the hotel is showing, especially with cabinets and desk in room.

My employer booked me on time, but on my arrival I was told that the non-smoking rooms are full, whereby I was booked at room 222. there is single beds this experience was not good and your supper for 4nights it was only chicken and beef that was dished instant of having fish or Pork once. Your breakfast was excellent. There is no gymnasium/a place to train your clients have to walk on the street for training in the morning.

I was placed on a floor that had a heavy cigarette smoke smell. You need to separate smoking guests and non-smoking guests and I do not feel it is appropriate to leave non-smokers on a smoking floor.

Kindly use the softeners eg starsoft when rinsing your blanket or bed liners. The room was very starvy/bad odour. Thefere, open the window when cleaning. This will Enable ventilation and fresh air to come in.

Small room with a very worn out easy chair. Bed OK. Internet fast. When checking out I was requested to pay the 1% tourism levy, although my prepaid reservation very clearly indicated that I was to pay R 0 at the hotel.

The reception staff was extremely helpful and courteous, and very capable of dealing with groups of people. Housekeeping is very efficient and quick to respond to requests, and the Maintenance Team superquick and solution oriented! We always come in groups on business trips and it makes our stays easy and smooth, and creates the space to relax in between business meetings.

Wooow for a change not even a faint smell of cigarettes smoke. Had a great peaceful sleep. The breakfast though was a great let down. There was simply no choice. For R165 surely one can get a great breakfast, externally. If you have pork sausages then beef sausages should be an option.
