I was actually very impressed when I stayed there approximately 5 months ago. Impressed by the rate, the food, and additional services. However, upon my second visit two weeks ago, the rate has gone up with R200, (which excludes breakfast), no wifi, (so I was unable to complete my work), and breakfast was at an additional cost of R160 per person which I feel is a bit excessive. Upon checking in we wanted to have lunch as we waited for approximately 15min just to find out that ALL restaurant staff was in a meeting. We then left to have lunch and breakfast the following day at the mall across the road. So I was a bit disappointed by the increased tariff which provided less

We Can Festival made bookings that were not loaded by the hotel and I didn't have a room on the evening, the We Can Festival Administrator has to escourt me to your reception and yet your clerk on duty that night of the 22 November and or morning of the 23 November, he couldn't get me a room, we argued with him and he gave me a single bedded room, it was uncomfortable and it was worth R700 that I had to pay out of my own pocket, he disregarded the We Can Festival Administrator and demanded to talk to the manager, I intervened and told him, She (Amanda) was responsible for bookings, he held the room key and it took us an hour before he hands over the key in those early morning times, I was disappointed on the disrespect and lack of trust the hotel has over people, or was it a behavior imposed to me or us as black customers or what it this, only the hotel can explain how they don't trust customers, struggling to get a room that has been booked and paid, was out of this world experience at your hotel, pathetic

it was fun indeed. when I got there I checked together with one elderly and two disabled elderly at the same time. it was raining and I saw your staff assisting in pushing the wheel chair at the same time covering the disabled persons with umbrellas. it was very touching to see people assisting in that regard and I felt to tell the world this. it is not common and am really humbled because I want to believe there could be codes of conduct within, but that also depends on the persons character which I must applaud. since smoke rises, I would like to suggest that smoking rooms could have been reserved upwards as opposed to downside whereby smell still passes through us who are directly above the room with a smoking occupant. that's little ofcause but just exchange of thought. all in all,thank you, I enjoyed my stay as always

I was advised that because the Hotel breakfast was not halaal it will be provided by an outside company. I was handed a plate of chicken pasta for breakfast...It seemed as if it was left overs from the previous night dinner.
