It is mostly noisy and unfortunately no one reprimands the noisy guests who would be at the car park and reception when the return late at night.

Anonymous Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

* 1 single room and 1 double room booked. Room with 2 single beds wasn't ready even though we checked in after 16:00 and check in is available from 12:00. * Was asked if this was my first time staying at Mercure despite having stayed at this hotel on 3 separate occasions last year. * Bedside and desk lamps not working. Had to flag this up so that Maintenance could attend to it. Surely Housekeeping are supposed to flag up any issues which need to be resolved before room is declared ready for check in. * Water pressure in showers has been reduced since previous stays. * Had to move rooms because the curtains wouldn't stay closed. Again, something else that Housekeeping should be flagging up. * Night 1: Other guests talking and shouting in the corridors at 02:00 in the morning - Ground Floor & 3rd Floor. Night 2: Other guests talking loudly and singing on the couches (by the lift) - 3rd Floor. Other guests talking and shouting in the corridors as well as knocking on the door a few times - Ground Floor. Had to call Front Desk to ask them to send someone to deal with the noise in the corridors. Hotel staff need to monitor activity taking place in the corridors. It's unacceptable to be disturbed by other Guests when we have paid a lot of money to stay in a nice place and are trying to rest. There needs to be more respect for other guests. This is supposed to be a nice hotel in a good area and it seems to be turning into a Formula One

Sorry but my morning coffee is important so broken or not working cuppacino machines are annoying.

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, We had an issue that morning with our Coffee machine, and we were still waiting for a technician from Nestle to come and assist I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.
