Bed needs attension - Room 215 Breakfast needs attension - vegetables sometimes smells getting rotten

SERIOUS attention needed to maintenance in the rooms!!!!!

For the last 5 years or so, annually, I stay for a long weekend at this hotel. After every stay I report exactly the SAME issues. This last weekend was no different: First room: A/C did not work, Only 1 bathroom light worked, no room lamp. I requested a new room: A/C worked but leaked all over the carpet. The WAS a room lamp, but no desk lamp. Velcro holding the curtain black-out was torn off. Liquid soap and conditioner pump bottles did not work. Breakfast was very average. Had to wait for the chef to cook eggs. Tables were not reset: Knives/forks/butter/salt & pepper missing. Staff were friendly, but total lack of attention to detail. IF ONLY someone senior would just once in a while check the rooms so many issues could be solved, but NOTHING seems to be checked. The rooms were at least clean, but very, very shabby. For the last 4 or 5 years I have made the same comments. At least, eventually the dining room ceiling had been painted last year! :-) . Management comment would be appreciated. Regards Grant C.. Found the aircon to be very loud and the beds uncomfortable,difficult to sleep. When you take a shower it floods the floor. The staff were okay. Would of liked a pool or gym aswell. Otherwise nothing special
