Lights and plug points were non functional aircon didn’t work we had to ask for a heater , no hairdryers in the room, no hand towel and not sufficient towels for bathing. A double bed for 2 adults and a child not acceptable, there should be at least a king bed or a double bed with sleeper couch for child. Breakfast the cheese board was empty I wanted to make a toasted cheese sandwich so I asked for it to be made since there weren’t any tomato slices or cheese replaced on the cheese board then I was told I’d be charged extra for the sandwich as it’s supposed to be made by myself . How was this to be possible when cheese and tomato was not even replenished! Overall a very poor experience and the hotel should be a 1 star rated establishment. Restaurant staff unprofessional, room service unavailable. I certainly will not be booking here again despite the convenient location . I will not refer friends and family and will indeed be marking a poor review on google . I will in future book at City Lodge bryanston where I paid a similar rate but had an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay.

The carpet in my room was vacuum cleaned but full of dirt marks. The safe didn't work and it is not bolted down. The chair in the room is damaged. The lights are so dim you can't see. The aircon makes a loud noise. The TV is skew. The cupboard where the fridge stands is damaged. The tap in the bathroom is loose. The soap holder in the bathroom doesn't work. There are no toilet paper holders. The restaurant has a very small and expensive menu. I ate a hamburger, it tasted awful (old bread, didn't have all the toppings & the patties tasted like rubber soya patties)
