Worst 4 star hotel I've ever stayed in. Should not be considered 4 stars based on the poor quality beds. This was the worst bed I've slept in, period. There wasn't any sound insulation in my room. A recycling truck showed up at 730am right outside my window with extremely loud crashing noise of dumping glass. I have a video of this which google won't let me post to this review due to size. I also possibly had food poisoning from the kiwis at breakfast. On my first morning I went to grab a kiwi and picked one up that was rotten, I then picked one that looked better. Before lunchtime, I started getting sick. I was so sick that it ruined the rest of the day and the following day. I can't say for sure that this came from the hotel's breakfast but that was the only food I'd eaten that day prior to getting violently ill.

The Mercure Alexia in Rhodes was such an enjoyable experience. Not necessarily because of the facility so much, even though it was very comfortable and clean, but mostly because of the incredible staff here. From the minute I walked thru the doors to the day I left; they made me feel welcome and special. They all treated me with so much respect and kindness, and I mean everyone, from the kitchen staff to the reception desk, and the guest representative that helped me set up trips to Symi and Lindos. i will be staying here again.

A very good hotel with excellent staff It's been surprisingly a good hotel, although the neighborhood doesn't look good. The staff was very welcoming. It felt like being at home, much because of the efforts of Anjie from the reception desk and Meltem from the guest relations department. We're certainly looking forward to the next opportunity to be in Rhodes.
