A wonderful hotel with extremely dedicated staff who ensure that your stay is enjoyable. Stayed with the kids and we were all very well looked after. The managers are on hand if needed. From the lovely domestic staff who clean the rooms well, through to the breakfast and reception staff, the focus is ensuring that you enjoy your time at the mercure. The pool, outdoor/indoor seating areas are all readily accessible alongside the spa. Whilst music is played live on Monday and Saturday nights which can be loud, the ambience of the Mercure alongside its proximity to beach, town and excellent breakfast option ensures a fabulous stay. Close to the beach, comfy bed and okay view and appreciated welcome drinks. Super noisy hotel inside, disrespectful other guests, consistent door kicks and bangs, you literally can hear when someone is wearing high heels above your room. The building very poorly built or renovated, easy access for your balcony from next door, which makes it a bit uncomfortable if you are a woman traveler. Next door new hotel is building, daytime drills from 7 am makes your stay not so much relaxing. Would not recommend this Accor hotel. :(

Convenient location, close to the old town, the waterfront, and the city center. Two beaches are a 5-minute walk from the hotel: one on the Aegean Sea and the other on the Mediterranean. Staff were great - Melina was particularly wonderful and proactively tried to help where she could! Bar staff were also very friendly. The rooms were nice, no issues with them - all fairly modern with nice bathrooms. The hotel is situated next to a huge rebuilding project, which I know is beyond their control, but doesn’t give a pleasant outlook. The room we had was extremely small and with very poor air conditioning. It took hours on returning to the room for it to reduce the temperature.
