The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The soaps and shampoos available were very nice. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, a great way to start the day. Staff were friendly. The location was close to the sea but within walking distance of old town which worked well for us. The hotel has a small pool which was a nice way to cool off after a day of site seeing and we always got a sunbed. The only negatives were, we booked this hotel because it had a spa, which was not available, this was not communicated and was a disappointment. We also booked this hotel as it has parking, because we had a hire car. This was limited and not exclusive to guests it seemed which caused us a bit of car related anxiety. And the street the hotel was pictured on was no longer there, it was a construction site. Overall though it was a great base of operations and the negatives did not ruin our stay.

Hotel lovely, really quick check in by Agnies. Housekeeping, great room clean perfect, the team of girls work hard to keep the standard up. I had eaten the restaurant on three of the nights and the food was good, my waiter was Stavros who was polite and attentive and made my dining experience enjoyable since I was on my own. My only one small disappointment was the spa was closed due to a maintenance issue. So I would like to send my sincere gratitude to all the team at Mercure Rhodes Alexia. Hope to return soon

The hotel was noticeably cheaper then those around though still had a pool and balcony. The price became clearer when staying because the pool was in the shade and freezing, the balcony was nice but there's a new hotel being constructed next door and the noise makes it impossible to have the doors open while they work. The sheets were never changed and there was no duvet so I had to use a dirty blanket from the cupboard. They would consistently forget to refill the toiletries and drinks sachets. The water bottles never got replaced once and I had to dismantle the body wash and leave it in the sink before they refilled it. The breakfast was cold, the only good think about it was the woman making fresh omelettes, she really was good
