Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Guest Safety Incident Dear Hotel Manager, I am writing to formally report a serious accident that occurred during my recent stay at ibis Styles Porto Alegre Moinhos de Vento. During my stay, I observed several design features in my room that I believe present unnecessary safety risks to guests. Behind the bed, decorative ropes are secured with exposed metal fixtures. If a guest is not extremely careful, these fixtures could potentially cause injury. More seriously, while taking a shower, I accidentally dropped the soap. As I bent down to pick it up, I struck my forehead against the shower fixture/control, which has a straight and sharp metal design. The impact opened a deep cut on my forehead, causing significant bleeding throughout the bathroom. After the accident, I went to the reception desk to report what had happened. I was disappointed that no medical assistance was offered, no doctor or emergency service was contacted, and no apparent incident report was prepared. Guest safety should always be a priority. I respectfully request that the hotel: Investigate this incident. Review the safety of the room and bathroom design. Confirm whether an incident report was created. Explain the hotel's procedures for responding to guest injuries. Inform me of any corrective actions that will be taken to help prevent similar accidents in the future. My intention is to ensure that no other guest experiences a similar accident. I look forward to your response.
