The hotel is strategically located in the city center area, new building and good facilities. The room is comfy and breakfast is also good. The downside is the staffs. Housekeeping took more than 30 minutes just to get my laundry and in the end I brought them myself to the receptionist. Checking out was also took to long, inefficient.

Relatively new accommodation in town that is located in the heart of Samarinda. You can easily find famous local food vendors around, malls downstairs, etc. They have Shelly, Mai Syarah, and Adi who always be there at front desk to give whatever you need during your stay, wholeheartedly. Yoshi at the restaurant who never stops putting smile on her face. Taufik at the gym is also ready to deliver gym tips. Ibis never fails me.

Overall, i had great experience stayed in this hotel. Beyond my expectation, well i don't have any expectation staying at IBIS , cause as my experience before the facility and so on just standard. But, IBIS Samarinda offering us different style decor, what a nice layout in room and variety of breakfast menu.

I chose this hotel since the location is very convenient to access malls around this area, there's even one mini mall attached to this hotel. This hotel also ensure you will get what facilities you'll probably find in other ibis, plus this hotel using the newest room design compared to their other properties in Indonesia.

Comfortable Hotel, with Very Poor Health Protocol Implementation!

Comfortable room, decent room service options, good wi-fi, easy-access to a shopping center with decent food options. Considering COVID-19 situation, health protocols implementation needs to be improved. There were hand sanitizers and temperature check. Sittings in the Lobby were not labelled for social distancing, there were people sitting without distance in the lobby, and also terrace cafe. Low-awareness and announcement about lift-passenger-limit of 4 people. Hotel staffs did not remind guests when there were more than 4-people going in & out of the lift. Also, spotted someone without a mask allowed within hotel. During check-in, counter for Accor member at reception was not attended to. Overall, hotel offers good value, but would not recommend during this pandemic situation.

The service and the location are good but the cleanliness not really good because when i was check in about 10 pm, i found an empty bottle on the table and tissue under the table, and an used soap in wastafel

Access to the hotel is easy ... The lobby is very comfortable ... The service is very good & friendly. For the room it is also really cool .. makes me feel at home in the room hee ... the food is also delicious, the service & service is very good and friendly to children ... The swimming pool is very clean and really likes the atmosphere around the swimming pool. The point is this hotel is really recommended to unwind & invite the family to vacation. Thanks Ibis hotel
