We recently stayed at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay and overall had a very pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The team also provided valet parking, complimentary water bottles, and tissues — thoughtful touches that didn’t go unnoticed. Throughout our stay, the staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. We especially appreciated how kind and warm the staff were with our children. It made a big difference to us as a family and really enhanced our experience. The room itself was very comfortable, and the bed was extremely cozy, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. Housekeeping did a thorough job cleaning the room each day, which we really valued. The food at the restaurant was excellent, with a wide variety of options available. Everything was fresh and tasty. A special mention to the breakfast team who kindly took our omelette and egg orders directly at the table so we didn’t have to queue — such a small gesture but very much appreciated. The swimming pool area was lovely and well maintained. However, we were disappointed to find that the lazy river pool and the slide pool were under maintenance during our stay. These facilities were one of the main selling points for us when choosing the resort, especially as we were traveling with kids. It would have been helpful to be informed about this in advance so we could have managed our expectations accordingly. Despite this, we still had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the comfort, service, and hospitality provided.

Very beautiful facilities, and pools, however the sea needs to be taken care of, not suitable for swimming, there are many sharp stones in it.

For our guests’ comfort and safety, we highly recommend wearing beach shoes when entering the sea, as the natural stones can make access less comfortable. I really liked the place, but I have two important remarks: The beach is full of stones, and I would suggest cleaning it and creating at least a small sandy area suitable for swimming in the sea. This was the biggest downside for me. Also, the quality of the food — especially breakfast — could be improved in terms of variety and overall taste.

However, our resort is located in a protected area of the Red Sea which prohibits us to alter the natural state of our beach, and the least we can do is cleaning it from garbage. We also highly advise our guests to wear beach shoes that would make strolling in our beach more comfortable and safer. We are sorry to learn that the food quality did not fully meet your expectations. Check in was a bit frustrating as reservations did not properly reserve room when minor change of triple to double occupancy was made and name was changed to my husband's (who wasn't there) and we almost didn't have a reservation. Additionally, we booked through email for embassy rate and no confirmation email was sent. (This has happened the last few stays). It was also disappointing that the large pool was closed and wasn't disclosed when we made the reservation. Room was clean as always. Pierre in housekeeping was very helpful. Joseph was very helpful with our bags on check in and check out. Mohsen from dining gave us absolutely amazing service, from delivering my daughter's food from room service to the pool area when she changed her location, to fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast and keeping our coffee/lattes always full.

The gardens were very well maintained the hotel was extremely clean . The staff work hard to make you feel welcomed and the room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and consumables replenished . The views of the sea are fabulous and the pools are very nice . I was able to experience scuba diving for the first time .on site . This was an incredible experience Max was very experienced and patient .
