Very friendly staff on every position . A free of charge airport Shuttle bus is included also from and to the general aviation terminal . About 10 min to walk is the center of the little town glattbrugg with a few shopping facilities and restaurants.. Unfortunately as everything in switzerland a little bit more expensive than in germany

It is a very reliable airport hotel. We stay here before all our early flights and we are always happy to be here. It is a bit shocking that the hotels around Zurich Airport charge for shuttles but it must be the consequence of covid crisis. Otherwise no surprises, always the same reliable good service and friendly reception.

Our first impression of the hotel and room were positive. The bathroom was beautiful in design. The first problem that arose is that the sink did not drain. This was not resolved. The next problem was that the bedside lamp did not work possibly the bulb had expired. Finally the shower which was beautiful to look at was a complete disaster functionally. All the control handles were replaced with buttons. As soon as you turned the water on, the colors started to change. When you tried to stop this there was a horrible banging sound from inside the wall and the entire bathroom went dark. After which the only color available as long as the water was running was pink. Additionally the shower was open and water sprayed against the bottom of the bathroom door which was already starting to come apart from water damage. Additionally with such a small bathroom, having an open shower allowed the entire bathroom to become very humid and foggy. There is also no ventilation in the bathroom. And the toiletpaper holder sits so close to the toilet it is impossible to access in a normal way. Movenpick seemed to have chosen design over functionality. In the end the bathroom felt like a cheap trick, and they should have better spent the money on a heated mirror.

Well located for the purpose of our travel

We could the hotel because we had to attend a meeting nearby. The location was perfect for that. Generally not impressed about the room, huge beds, that was great and clean but when we arrive the kettle was hidden in the wardrobe and, the was no black tea, just three sort of green tea. Also the mini-fridge was empty and there was not complementary water. We were not recognised at Silver Accord members and because we were in a rush, forgot to ask about our complementary welcome drinks. The receptions were always very nice and kind, that why we had a good stay, along with the good food at the restaurant and fine service. There's room for improvement.

Every time I fly to Switzerland, to return home in the United States, I like to stay in Mövenpick Hotel near Zürich airport. I like the proximity of the hotel to the airport, always courteous and professional welcome at the reception desk, clean appearance of the hotel, as well as the room comfort! The hotel’s restaurant has an excellent menu and opportunities for a great breakfast or lunch or dinner meals!

No Temperature Control

The hotel was clean and exactly what we needed for a quick overnight before our flight from the Zurich airport. However, there was only one restaurant open (which was packed and we needed to go out into the city to find food) and the rooms were so hot. We turned the heat down as much as we could, tried to put the cold air on and had the window open but it was uncomfortable for sleeping and unfortunately loud with the window open.

Noisy room, comfy bed , breakfast only from 7 available…. Airport hotel that only starts serving BF from 7 in the morning ? Although covid has hit the hotel as well its simply not acceptable as an airport hotel. Should be at the very least from 6. Rooms are noisy due to the highway right next to the hotel . The windows dont close properly and therefore are “leaking” noise. If the windows would have new rubberseals and be better adjusted the rooms would be noiseproof…

Filthy rooms, bad quality bed and a 20.- taxi-ride from the airport. Absolutely not a 4-star level and definitely not Accor-standing. Never again!

For just a quiet and close to the airport stay

The hotel is quiet and clean. Just very basic. The room size is very good considering that we had been in other hotels where a family of 3 will have a queen size bed a sofa bed. Movenpick has a spacious room size for a family of 3 with 2 queen beds in the room for a more comfortable stay. The only downside is the hotel room is very basic, I have no idea about other rooms in the hotel but ours is just plainly basic. Only soap (a small bar & a body/shower gel in the dispenser) is available in the toilet. No other toiletries are available like toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner etc... These are basic toiletries that must be provided and available in all rooms. Just common toiletry items must be provided considering that most are travelling light without check-in luggage and minimal liquids allowed on hand-carried luggage.

Basically a good experience although sometimes felt the administrative part of the hotel not working properly: room key not working second day, room not cleaned first day, seems system not aware we stayed 2nights while payed via the booking etc etc.

Meals were served on the terrace only which was full, also with people from outside, with no chance to dine for hotel guests as I was declined seating. I went to the reception desk where the situation was corrected. Restaurant service was a mess that night, with repeatedly forgotten orders, used equipment all over the cashier desk etc. Much better the next day with another crew
