Hotel is always a pleasure to stay and dine at. I am a platinum Accor plus member and one of my privileges is that I can pay on check out and no security bond On this occasion I had dinner at the restaurant and booked it to my room. I left the hotel without checking out, the room was paid on check in. The dinner approximately $90 was unsuccessfully debited from my card and management were hounding me for several days to make payment, I did have a death in the family and just never got around to topping the card up. Management used some of my points to try recoup the payment without my knowledge or permission and I found this incredibly rude. I’ve been a loyal customer and spent thousands at this hotel and now management are demanding a $200 security bond of which I will refuse to pay on my next stay. As I said to them I will take this complaint further with Accor higher management

Well appointed apartments with everything you need and very good value for what they offered. I loved how the lobby smelled beautiful. It was so close to the river and tram stops so excellent for those without a car. The front door was very low key, so low key we had trouble finding it until we realised the "side entrance". The noise insulation could be a little better.

The staff at Shadow Play by Peppers made our stay so memorable. We received such a warm and friendly welcome upon check-in. We were then upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment and the staff couldn’t have been more willing to assist. Our room was so lovely and spacious, and we were so grateful for the offer. All of the staff, from the reception to bar and housekeeping, were beyond lovely and helpful. We even got a cute little bag of Easter eggs at check-in! We had a wonderful stay at Shadow Play by Peppers and would love to stay again for our next trip in Melbourne! Thank you team x
