I recently stayed and had a very pleasant experience overall. The location was convenient, the environment was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good variety with great taste. One of the biggest highlights was the free undercover parking, which is truly a rare find on the Gold Coast and a huge bonus for anyone travelling with a car.

I have stayed with you a number of times. It was not the best of stays on this occasion as I discovered there was no way to set the aircon to the needed temp and 20 degrees was not cold enough for my needs. (Medical reasons) The thermostat COULD be set lower (Down to 16 degrees) and this was attempted multiple times without success. I found the temp just going back up each time it was attempted. At 3.30am I called the front desk to ask why the aircon was not working correctly. I only found out that the minimum temp could be set by the front desk and that it is set to 20 degrees, and anything lower had to be a special request. This is not advised on the wall thermostat and I had no idea that my fruitless efforts to lower the temp so I could sleep would in fact never work. I ended up getting to sleep just after 4am and I was exhausted. This lack of sleep impacted my ability to work that day and there was no way I could safely return back to the Gold Coast that night after another long day of travel. I asked to be checked out and charged for only 1 day. I should have requested a full refund. Instead a refund for the 2nd booked day was made, but found out that the credit card surcharge for the 2nd night was not refunded. This was not the most pleasant of stays. I would like to return to you again, but feel it important that you make it clear to all customers that setting the temp lower, despite them being able to do so, results in NO impact to the temp in the room. I am still tired from this last business trip and the sleepless night certainly has had a lasting impact. I feel it only fair to request a full refund for the entire stay including all charges. Please update signage about your undisclosed aircon "min temp". No customer should be fighting sleep to be comfortable in your rooms, especially those who have a medical condition where temperate is critical.
