Room crowded, nowhere to put bags, bathroom tiny, noisy after party on Saturday night, Fire alarm going off at 3pm and 4am, no staff to assist in evacuation

Dear Janette, Thank you for sharing your feedback, and I’m pleased to hear you enjoyed the common areas and made use of the golf course. Our course is one of the oldest in the region, and it’s wonderful to see guests continue to enjoy this part of the property. That said, I’m very sorry that your overall experience did not meet expectations. I completely understand your concerns regarding the room size, lack of space for luggage, and bathroom layout, particularly when this impacts comfort during your stay. I also acknowledge the disruption caused by noise and the fire alarms. While the alarm system operated as intended, the lack of staff presence and guidance during these moments is not what we want our guests to experience and I sincerely apologise for the uncertainty this caused. We are actively reviewing both our emergency response procedures and how we manage guest comfort during busy periods, as well as working with our design teams on future plans to improve room functionality and overall experience, this is important to us. As a gesture of goodwill, we would welcome the opportunity to offer courtesy points as an Accor Member or added value on a future stay, and I would be pleased to arrange this for you directly. I was very disappointed with the size of the bedroom we were in room 71 in the Moreton Wing, all the windows are rusted and cannot be opened for fresh air, the air conditioning unit was broken and there was no sealant on the shower doors so the bathroom floor was constantly wet, considering I booked the room over 12 months in advance I was pretty disappointed with the rate paid vs room we were assigned. The rooms are in desperate need of a refurbishing, I wouldn't recommend this hotel and I certainly won't be returning.

Lovely ambience and I had a very relaxing stay thank you. The Restaurant was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed my meals. Five star! Only one thing seemed a bit amiss to me and that was the lovely staff member on reception was wearing clothing and runners that didn’t seem to reflect the elegance of Peppers. On another note in case it is helpful in anyway is the signage for Peppers at entry of drive was worn badly and looked tired. Not a good impression as you entry Craigieburn. Perhaps more signage to where reception is for us newbies who haven’t been before. I had a lovely stay and would come back again.
