Lovely Restaurant staff , food was good , Room was full of long dark Hairs all over the Bathroom & living room floor not very Clean

Arrived after dark and it was quite difficult to find our room as we had not stayed at the hotel before. The check in staff and bar staff on arrival were both very good. Rooms were very nice. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very disappointing. Main options were very average and there was no buffet for continental options like cereal and toast which added to the disappointment.

We arrived in the dark around 8:30 pm. It was difficult to hear receptionist instructions and greetings, given how loud the wedding music was - like astonishingly loud. I felt for the reception staff - what an uncomfortable environment to work in! The room wasn't well signposted, and it was difficult to see the room numbers on the outside of the building as many lights were no working. The foyer area outside our room (2038) absolutely stank so bad and there was a water leak so lots of old towels out on the ground and a bucket underneath. A weird welcome cat statue was also outside the door at the top of the stairs and in an inconvenient place for getting the suitcases up the stairs, and the people in the rooms to the left of the stairs were fighting, so it didn't feel super safe. Garage not very clean, dust and leaves etc. The room itself, once we got in, was fine. A little run down and there was some grime on the tiles and the ceiling was peeling a little, but overall adequate. No moisturizer in the hand lotion - it was empty. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were fabulous.

Additionally, I appreciate your feedback on the room amenities, and I apologize for the empty lotion bottle. We will make sure that our housekeeping staff is reminded to check all supplies diligently. Thank you once again for your comments.
