Old and run down

Ch… Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

On arrival 2 of the 3 lifts were out of order which was not explained upon check in. During the night there was a loud crash which woke me I had no idea what it was until I went to have a shower the following morning and a latch above the shower head had fallen. I was unable to have a proper shower or wash my hair as I did not have time to wait for a handy man. When I went to catch the lift to check out. The light would not come on at all. Myself and another lady waited 10 minutes we called reception on the phone located near the lift and there was no answer also tried calling via my phone no answer. We then had to descend the stairs with all our luggage from level 6. I let the receptionist know. This was quite appalling for middle aged women at the price we paid for the rooms.

When I checked in last Saturday morning the gentleman was so kind and found me a room straight away. I explained that I was there as my mother was in hospital and each morning would ask how she was which I thought was very kind of him. Can you please give him a big THANK YOU from me 🙏

The air con was not working even though it was on, I even had the air con on and there was no air coming out. Hot sleep.

Just ok - bit old infrastructure, and noisy due to nearby trains

Just ok - bit old infrastructure, and noisy due to nearby trains. requested late check out, straight away told to leave at 11am, or pay $40 per hour for 2 hours, else full day rate will be charged. No consideration to corporate customers.

I found the experience to be satisfactory. The rooms are well appointed however the beds need updating - very hard! On my stay only a single lift worked which resulted in crowded lifts or delayed access. The location, not that it can be improved, is a little out of the way to local restaurants but is in a great location to access public transport
