Only really talked to one staff member during my stay and she was super friendly. Getting into the room it wasn't explained I had to push my card into a socket on the wall to get power. First I've seen that, but I'm not much of a hotel goer. The bathroom was okay, the shower needs it's silicone replaced as it was really mouldy. The conditioner and body was smelt great but I had no shampoo so couldn't comment on that. The hand soap on the other hand smelt horrible. Regarding the room itself. Nothing special for a studio apartment. I appreciated room service when it came. However, with only the bathroom sink to get water from. I would have appreciated the water bottle in the room refilled each morning. The desk in the room had chips all through it. Didn't bother me - just an observation. Iron and ironing board present was nice as I was only in Canberra for a wedding. I didn't get an opportunity to check out the pool or sauna. Overall stay was a little disappointing tbh. My other mates who travelled down for the wedding stayed in cheaper hotels and were much nicer. The location in the city was great but I probably wouldn't stay there again when I visit on a few months. I might try another place

Centrally located in Canberra. The room was spacious with coffee and tea provided as well as extra blankets and pillows. Air conditioner worked very well during a hot few days in the city. Pool and gym could definitely use an update, as could the hotel restaurant. Staff were welcoming and checking in and checking out was a breeze. Bathroom amenities were good as was the overall quality of the shower/bath with decent heat and water pressure.

For a hotel located on a main road, my room had no peace and quiet for a good night sleep. I could hear cars regular machine noise, and even people speaking even though my room was up on level 8.
