The bathroom was so small you couldn't sit on the toilet properly and I am only 5' 6" tall, as is my wife. The toilet pan was at right angles to the access to it. The bathroom door was worn out and would not SLIDE without abnormal effort and LOUD screeching as the metal ground to the metal of the bottom roller slide. HAS obviously been like this for a long time. The chair and the sofa were obviously cheap and nasty as they were like CONCRETE to sit on. There was a large cobweb on the ceiling corner near the toilet door. We ordered room service for our dinner, and for 2 meals we received 1 set of cultery and one napkin. This was lack of attention to detail. We thought we were getting a 4 star hotel not a 2 star. This is probably why there are NO PICTURES of the bathroom on the website. It is quite obvious that no one from a Management or Supervisory position has inspected and checked this room for a very long time. For nearly the same price we could have stayed at the MECURE in Queens road. But this group hotel was closer to where we had been to our function. This room at this room rate was a disgrace. I reckon I could have got better at the 3 star motel across the road. MANAGEMENT and BOARD " LIFT YOUR GAME " Regards ROB R.
