Mantra Amphora Palm Cove

Great hotel and location. Wonderful, accommodating staff. A very pleasant stay with a view of the sea from the balcony. Would happily stay here again. We've stayed in other properties in the area but some are too crowded.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Best friends getaway for a relaxing weekend to celebrate our birthdays. Location is perfect. All amenities were great. The staff were friendly and helpful - they organised our airport transfers and restaurant booking as well. The hotel restaurant, Vivo, was amazing - delicious food and great staff, very attentive. We also had a massage at the hotel day spa, Palm Cove Retreat Day Spa, and it was one of the best massages we've ever had. From the welcome to the refreshments after the massage, superb! The rooms are a little worn but still great. We had an ocean view apartment on the top floor, note - there are no lifts so if you have challenges with stairs request a lower floor room/apartment. Apartment was spacious in every way, provided a full kitchen & laundry capabilities too (washer & dryer). They also provide some basic consumables for you - shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand wash/moisturiser/laundry detergent/dishwashing liquid/tea/coffee/hot chocolate/sugar/small milk. Having the extra outdoor area with a balcony overlooking the ocean was lovely. Our flight arrived before check in time, but they had our room ready for us and checked us in early. If we go back to Palm Cove we will definitely stay here again.

Great pool area right and resort is located in the centre of the esplanade, so easy walking to all restaurants, bars and shops. Directly across from the beach. Although older, as most of these resorts are, the maintenance is good and grounds are clean. The staff are lovely and gave us a ground floor room as requested, as my husband can't walk the stairs easily. Would definitely return here. We had a lovely stay.

This is our second stay with Mantra Amphora and would not hesitate to make it our first choice for the next time we visit Palm Cove. We have stayed in a Pool View Room and now a Ocean View Room and both were fantastic. Absolutely the best location in Palm Cove

Palm cove is fabulous a smaller version of port Douglas with a breeze. Great for families . The hotel has a great pool and away from the other side near wharf which is a plus much quieter with ice cream shop next door best restaurants within walking distance and easy to get to. The mantra were polite and easy check in and grass area for kids to play at the front and back was the pool and gardens. We will be returning to the mantra . The rooms were clean and spa bath was amazing. Location was the best easy access to fish and chips for something simple an ice cream and restaurants for breakie . Try nu nu bread best ever with assorted jams fantastic very end near the last hotel in pic great for kids and peters place for fish and chips with a mixture of variety of burgers. The tours info are not very clear in palm cove with operators being impatient Fitzroy island is highly recommended but no transfers for pick up included so make your own way there with car or bus. Brett’s tours to Karanda best ever operator will stop at palm cove and pick up and drop off and also in port Douglas for sky rail and train tour highly recommended . Great place beautiful and end of January much quieter with rain in afternoon but that will cool things down for a couple of minutes and not as crowded yes it’s breading season no swimming but worth going to Daintree and Karanda and other tours in this beautiful place
