Location couldn’t have been more perfect. However the bed was uncomfortable and the toilet door didn’t close. We had to ask twice to get this fixed, it’s a tiny room and a mirror beside the toilet meant the other person in the room could see you in the loo. Until this was eventually fixed we had to use the public toilet there which defeated the purpose of paying extra to stay somewhere without a shared bathroom. Staff were friendly

The room was small, but adequate for what I needed, very good central location, but an expensive choice for Air NZ disrupted passengers with a $70 Taxi ride each way. Uber app had crashed. Worst part was the EXTREMELY slippery shower, I slipped over badly.

Great stay. It was really good to arrive and find the room ready so we could check in and get settled straight away. The location was the real highlight — very close to the stadium and right in the middle of town, with bars, restaurants and Riverside Market all an easy walk away. I want to preface this review with the fact that I was very satisfied with the staff who organised my room change - making this a seamless transition on the same floor and doing so without issue. The initial room I had was extremely hot and claustrophobic, lacking airflow, and extremely small. While they did send maintenance to the room, they claimed this to be working fine. Thankfully the staff at the front desk moved me and this next room was much improved, slightly larger but also with a working air conditioner. I was a little shocked of the size of the room. Breakfast however was good, the staff were great. Just not sure I would ever stay again considering the rooms and the small beds where I had to sleep diagonally (and I'm not short at 5,8).

Was staying just for the one night. Bought breakfast and paid for coffees at the till. Went to checkout and they tried to charge us against our room for the same coffees. I don’t understand how this happens as the systems are all integrated but left a bit of a negative impression

From check in to accommodation I can't fault it; the room was clean and tidy with everything I needed - maybe it was just me but i could not adjust the temperature in the room but also my fault for not asking for instructions or looking for instructions in the room. Breakfast was good and nice to be able to hit the day running. I did have an extremely disappointing dinner on the 2nd night of my stay, I ordered a brisket Burger just before 7 with a drink and took a table, there were 3 other tables who were already eating so should be pretty quick I thought, I waited 40 minutes and wated other people who ordered after me get their meal some even finished and left. at 7:45 a staff member came over and apologies and said it won't be long and apologised telling me the chef had burnt the buns and needed to make a fresh batch, 5 minutes later he came by again and apologised and offered a complementary beverage which I accepted, he went and got the drink and carried on about his work at 8pm I received what I can only describe as one of the worst burgers I have ever seen, taste wise the brisket was pretty bland and had minimal smokey flavour. the brisket had been sliced nine ways to Sunday and was impossible to hold and eat a burger without all the contents falling out - definitely not a meal that was worth waiting an hour for. The tomato sauce was the most flavourful item served, and I am guessing that was not made inhouse. when I return for business, I will use your accommodation but certainly will not be having Dinner in your restaurant, it was both a waste of time and money
