Rooms far too small for a couple

Room was far too small for a couple. Unfortunately we weren't the ones that booked. Room wasn't the cleanest either. Would be OK for a single person. Wouldn't need to be a bigger person either to fit in the shower. Have to climb onto the bed as it is quite high so the luggage can be stored underneath. Was just a nightmare for 2 people. If you are by the wall in bed, you had to climb over the other to go to the toilet. Was very chlostrophobic.

Room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. Less room and bed size than any cruise ship I’ve stayed in. I’m a adult male with my wife we do not fit in the bed together. Asked to upgrade to queen was told 40 a night to 60 a night upgrade. This is a solo person backpacker hotel. Again travelled 20 years 4 months a year to many hotels this is not a hotel room or even a cruise ship room. Lobby is nice it’s sad that Accor attached it’s name and give people a room like that as a couple.

Centrally located. Easy to reach from Airport Bus number 8 , alight on Hereford St and Hotel is within 100 mts. Front office staff are very friendly and helpful. Allowed early checkin. Abhishek , Staff in charge was very helpful. Room, though small, was very convenient. Linen was clean and white. Standard room is enough for 2 . Riverside Market, Cathedral Square, Botanical Gardens, Bus interchange are all within walking distance. Tour pickup was from Hotel. Overall a pleasant stay.

I have stayed a total 2 weeks back and fourth Breakfree I had a fantastic time the room is small for couples however very clean comfortable bed room clean everyday they are doing a great job the room attendant the bed is a bit higher up so you can store your luggage under it. Coffee and tea in the room the entertainment just basic NZ tv I brought my Apple TV so good internet connection so no issue there the breakfast is good but it the same thing each day so after 4 days I was so sick of it. Washing machine available with coin operated that fantastic. The only issue I had is the bathroom I am to small very hard moving around but still manageable the bonus point the price of the hotel very good which it doesn’t break your account definitely will be back next time when visiting Christchurch.
