I have never ever in all my years of traveling had a hotel toilet stink! It smelt worse than the public toilets at a festival. I informed housekeeping, they tried their best. The urine smell was in the tiles. Nasty!!!

+ Front desk staff was very nice, location was great, bar offers very good cocktails in a warm atmosphere - Breakfast buffet was average, temperature in the room was a little low BY ALL MEANS avoid the ground floor restaurant Don Pape. Instead go to the top floor restaurant of the Casino, 5 minutes walk.

I have stayed at this property since it was new, at least once a year, often several times a year. Staff is great, very friendly and easy to work with. That does not make up for the fact my room stayed too warm to sleep, regardless of thermostat settings and with outside temperatures below 10C. WiFi was horrible, traveling on business, connectivity is a must, downloading or sending an email with an attachment was painful.

Checked in, and I was told that breakfast and parking were included... and next morning, I was asked to pay 12 Euro... more upset on the way I was treated than anything else, knowing this is not my money!

The location isn’t the issue. 1. The room service was bad, with dirty in the bathroom wall like it was not cleaned for a very long time. The cleaning service is very bad above all like you let trash by mistake before the service and 8/10 you will likely see it when you’re back. 2. There was no AC when we arrived for 2 or 3 long days ( we’ve been noticed when we ask about it) 3. The bartender was nice but we had an arguement with the responsible of the desk because there was a problem linked to the reconciliation between the bar’s books and the desk’s one after a drink we had. In fact they told us that we haven’t paid for 7 euro the drink we had which was not registered at the front desk but they found out there was 7 euro of gap btw the two books… a very annoying situation… 4. We were supposed to live very early in the morning so we checked out the night before living. We were just supposed to let the card into the box so at 3 am. in the morning we were packing when the night officer told us that she wasn’t noticed about our departure and i said to her that we paid everything already but she insisted and waisted our time. After her verification, she realised that we owed nothing but she stick to the idea that she hadn’t the information. We said to her that it was not our problem because we planned to go and we did it! So my overall experience is very bad. For the price, i think the service should have been better. I do not think 4 stars is the standard of this hotel. They deserve the half. ⭐️ ⭐️
