Nice hotel, that is close to shopping, however, I had several issues with the hotel. I feel like the hotel was designed by men for men. In the bathroom there is no counter space for women (or even men) to place personal items...there is a sink and that's about it. The shower is not enclosed, so be prepared for the water to land everywhere (around the toilet, sink area) which could also be a fall risk. They also don't provide slippers in the room, so then you're taking wet feet all over the carpet and on to your bed. There is an ironing board and iron, which is good, but not a lot of outlets to plug the iron into. I ended up using the ironing board as an extra counter to hold my curling iron, makeup, etc. For breakfast, no one is really there to check you in...you stand in line, wait, there is no acknowledgement and after a while ask someone at the bar for help and then they eventually check you in. I left a glass of juice at the table to "hold the table", got more breakfast items, came back and my glass was gone. I had dinner there one night and both my colleague and I thought the meal was lackluster in terms of flavor...we were afraid to order dessert fearing it will be just as bad.

However, I am sorry to learn that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Your comments regarding the bathroom layout and limited counter space are appreciated. While there is storage available around and beneath the vanity for personal items, we understand how this may not have been ideal for your needs. With regard to the shower design, guest safety is a top priority, and I appreciate you highlighting this concern. We will review this feedback to ensure our facilities continue to meet comfort and safety standards. Although slippers are not currently provided, bath mats are available in all rooms to help prevent any potential accidents. I also apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during breakfast, including the delay at check-in and the issue with the glass of juice. Providing attentive and efficient service is very important to us, and I regret that we did not meet this standard on this occasion. Your feedback will be shared with our team to help improve our breakfast service. Lastly, I am sorry that your dining experience did not meet your expectations. Not as good as previous

Although we are not able to guarantee a specific room on each visit, we can certainly manage to allocate a room away from the elevators. The room was really nice for the price, we stayed one night after a wedding and it was comfortable and convenient with off-street parking and the buffet breakfast options which made our stay even easier.

A small-ish size event of 25 people, communication was excellent, but motly, the wet weather indoor contingency was the icing on the cake. I have been inundated by all of the team to say how wonderful it was, location, ease of access, parking, comfort, food, servcie etc. Garrett and I stayed the night, and appreciated the slightly later check out at 1130. Our room in 339 - was missing water, face washers and a shower cap, and wine glasses. Otherwise, the room and Mercure experience overall was excellent.
