Generally good, rooms were comfortable and clean amenities inside the room were good too! The lobby area is vast and impersonal, VERY noisy with loud piano playing and conflicting music being played through a speaker system. Gym good too

After a long trip, this hotel is the oasis for me. Excellent service. Is my gate between the West and the East. The Chinese care for the guests is unique. The staff works very and to excellent service.

Your right we are conveniently located across Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport it takes you 30-seconds walk from the main terminal Exit 12-13 don’t forget when you come from the Arrival please use the escalator and go up one level and ask at Information desk for exit 12-13 where you also see our Pullman Hotel Name. We also have free pick up service please mention this service when you make your booking so some of our attentive team will pick up at the Arrival hall. Don’t forget our white Golf buggy standing outside the Exit 12-13 which can help you with your luggage. All our Guest Rooms are European standard and have the Pullman bed with super comfy pillows and two legs pillows for a good rest after a long flight. The air conditioning system is up to standard and the shower room has separate tub and rain shower. All Guest Rooms give you enough space to do your business or leisure Activities. For your next arrival don’t forget our Touch Spa at the third floor West wing with our amazing Swimming pool and Fitness lounge which is open from 6:00am in the morning till 22:00pm at night.. Returning guest, another enjoyable stay. Check-in and check-out seamless, and your courtesy bus to the airport is a big feature benefit of Pullman. Unable to dine in the ground floor buffet due to large business group booking, which is my favourite, but ate instead in the bar area. Next time. I come to Guangzhou 4-6 times a year, and Pullman is now my preferred hotel stay. See you again soon.

Check-in Problems Again

The room was nice, as always. But also, as every time I stay, when I arrived they could not find my reservation. This happens over and over again, even though the reservations are made through their website. This time they said my credit card didn't work, so room never confirmed. I never received an email stating this. They still gave me a room but charged me a higher rate. That is unacceptable. By the way, the credit card is a corporate international card that I've used all over the world for thirteen years with zero issues. It only seems to be an issue at this one hotel. Really wish the location would investigate and resolve this issue. Almost seems to be a racket of accepting lower rates during reservations but then charging higher rates when customer arrives. Repeat issue. Unfortunately, it is the only hotel at the airport, so it puts a traveler in a difficult spot.

I many times stay in your hotel and hope to see you again . Location is very good and they have transfer To/From Airport . Room is big but this as I have upgraded . Also they always keep some fruits and sweets which sometimes very good when arrival at late night and all restaurant closed .

Tarmac pickup - straight off the plane onto the hotel bus

Have stayed at the Pullman many times when transiting through Guangzhou. This time booked the suite room that includes “Tarmac pickup” service. This time our plane didn’t land at the gate and as advertised the hotel bus was there to pick us up as soon as we came down the steps off the plane and took us to the hotel. The hotel also collected our check in luggage so there was no need to wait at the airport. (Hotel advised this is only available for domestic services) The hotel room was large clean and tidy and service was good. No complaints. Breakfast is as always a little lower than expected for the price of the hotel, but I did notice improvements since previous stays. Coffee at breakfast is still poor.

I was returning home from 2 weeks in Huizhou and needed to stay close to the airport one night. My colleagues in China recommended the Pullman at Baiyun Airport. I am glad they did. From checkin to checkout the Pullman experience was excellent. The staff was polite, friendly and professional. The food well prepared and the drinks tasty and cold. I was only there the night but I was able to take advantage of the executive lounge, fitness center, restaurant and bar. All of these were outstanding. The Chinese restaurant was a real treat even after eating excellent Chinese cuisine for two weeks. I don’t know when I might go back to China. When I do, I will stay at the Pullman if at all possible.

Pillow terrible...

Apart from the new terrible tempurlike pillows, all is good. But these pillows might be enough for me to change to a different chain of hotels, not only you have done this, also Pullman Changed Dongguan, and you really need to change back to proper pillows.

I have used this hotel 5 or 6 times now and its really convenient for the airport, particularly Terminal 1 and there is a regular shuttle bus to Terminal 2; the rooms are a good size and there a couple of good restaurants inside the hotel.

Had around 10 stays in the past and overall were above average. This stay was somehow below my expectation. I was offered by China Southern Airlines for free accommodation as their Business Class traveller and I decided not to utilise it. Because I am a Le Club Platinum so I assumed I would have an enjoyable night at the Pullman Guangzhou as before. The problem started from Checking in, at the Executive Lounge, where I asked for an upgrade but denied even when the hotel was not in high occupancy. The staff showed no care about my request and I was left with a 'take it or leave it' attitude. The room was small and the bathroom sink was full of water marks. The food at the Executive Lounge was average as the food variety is minimum as well as the beverage selection. No Sauvignon Blanc, not even from Chile (no offence), a French Hotel, really? We had dinner later on at the Chinese Restaurant and it was alright. The breakfast at the Main Restaurant was a disaster and we choosed to be limited to the selection of food at the Executive Lounge. Check out and the transport to Airport Terminal was good. Overall a transit stay below my expectation. I am unsure if it is wrong to ask for improvement or I simply should withdraw myself from my better experience from the past?
