Location wise the hotel is good for transit passengers. But the hotel is really old. No force for water in the bathrooms, the AC is not cold and they provided a fan for me to sleep. The temperature outside is cold, but inside the hotel you need a proper air-conditioning to keep the air comfortable.

As a Platinum member I was upgraded to a lovely room. Breakfast was good every day with many different offerings that you could see the pride in. But there were 2 things which made this particular visit magical. Firstly, each night I would come back to the hotel very tired and go to the executive lounge. Cherish would warmly great me and have my gin and tonic ready before I even sat down. Cherish would then engage in hearty conversation and her english is very good. She was amazing and made me feel warmly at home. The second thing is that I checked out and was at the airport when I realised I left my laptop and passport at the hotel. The hotel bus driver quickly took me back to the hotel, where concierge was waiting outside for me to arrive with my belongings, and they then arrange for a hotel car to immediately take me back to the airport and I didn't miss my flight. In my 30 years of doing business and travelling, I can honestly say that my experience was rockstar. Thankyou

We love that there is a shuttle service for airport transfers and for the Canton Fair. I just wish there is also airport arrival shuttle and city shuttle.

Have never stayed in a hotel as bad as this. Upon check in, the staff forgot to collect payment. Had to remind the staff to collect it from me. Upon departure I requested my luggage to be weighed. The staff not only said my Chinese is wrong, even told me to weigh the luggage myself. I requested for my luggage to be brought down but nobody came to assist me. As a hotel staff, shouldn’t you be assisting the guest rather than telling the guest to do it themselves? Every staff I encountered in the hotel were just rude. No hospitality whatsoever. A five star Accor hotel with this kind of service is just surprising to me. The most disappointing stay I have ever encountered. Wanted to experience 5 stars hotel service but experienced this kind of lousy service Even staff at Ibis hotel, 3 stars. Service is better. Please give better training to the people working there.
