This was my second stay at the hotel, and I truly appreciate the excellent service provided by Chloe and the team. I wasn’t feeling well due to the hot weather, and Chloe kindly helped me buy medicine — a gesture that made a big difference. Although I was unwell, I had a good rest thanks to the comfortable room. The breakfast has improved, now with an egg station and a better variety of options. The only downside is that food is not replenished close to 10am, so choices are limited if you arrive late. Overall, a great place to stay, with less traffic compared to the Canton area. Will definitely return!

This was my first visit to Guangzhou, and I’m so glad I chose to stay at Swissotel Guangzhou. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Ms. Chloe at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty dishes. I also enjoyed the buffet dinner at Café Verona — the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. At the Japanese restaurant, we had grilled eel rice, sashimi rice, and beef rice — all incredibly delicious! This trip was a happy and memorable one, thanks to the comfortable stay and excellent food at this hotel. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Swissotel Guangzhou to anyone visiting the city.

I recently stayed at the Swissôtel Guangzhou and had an excellent experience. The hotel rebranded from Hotel Nikko Guangzhou in March 2025, and while the design largely retains its original look, everything felt well-maintained and comfortable. I had booked a standard room, but to my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a suite upon check-in — a very generous gesture. Since the Executive Lounge was temporarily closed, the hotel offered complimentary dinner buffet for two at the restaurant on the ground floor as compensation for the Happy Hour benefit. I was truly impressed by this level of hospitality. The dinner buffet was absolutely amazing — featuring crayfish, a wide variety of seafood, Chinese BBQ, abalone and sea cucumber rice soup, seared steak, and many more delicious dishes. The staff were warm and welcoming, and even took the time to introduce the hotel’s culinary highlights and invite me to return again. To be honest, I hadn’t expected too much since the hotel is quite far from the city centre, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. If I return to Guangzhou in the future, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
