A really lovely hotel with amazing staff. Lovely building and very comfortable beds and rooms. Went for a pony convention and the building is amazing they also provide free water too.

The hotel amenities were excellent, and every area was maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. Their professionalism, genuine care, and willingness to assist with any request made a significant difference to our experience. They consistently made us feel welcome and valued as guests. The combination of exceptional customer service, spotless facilities, and outstanding amenities made this one of the best hotel experiences we have had. OMG, my time at Swissotel Guangzhou was seriously amazing! The food was SO good, like, every bite was a party. And the staff? Super friendly and always there when I needed anything, which was awesome. Plus, the whole vibe of the place was just so chill and stylish, I totally felt relaxed and happy the whole time. It was one of those stays you just don't forget!

The stay was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I felt like I was being looked after very well.

This trip did not go as planned and we had to spend most of our time outside the hotel due to unexpected circumstances. Despite that, the hotel staff were very kind and understanding. I would like to especially thank Chloe for her empathy and willingness to help during this period. Her support made a difference to us. I hope my next visit, I can spend more time in hotel.

From the start of my communication with Chloe, I felt the warmth of the place. She was so amazing and helped me with room choices that'll fit my family size. I had won a voucher for buffet dinner and she again helped to reserve seats in Café Verano. Chloe arranged everything about my family trip a week earlier and I admired her professionalism. I met Iris during check in and she was super helpful. A really nice person who helped to make things smooth for us. Hotel staff are calm and soft spoken and this is a huge credit to the place.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and I truly appreciate the excellent service provided by Chloe and the team. I wasn’t feeling well due to the hot weather, and Chloe kindly helped me buy medicine — a gesture that made a big difference. Although I was unwell, I had a good rest thanks to the comfortable room. The breakfast has improved, now with an egg station and a better variety of options. The only downside is that food is not replenished close to 10am, so choices are limited if you arrive late. Overall, a great place to stay, with less traffic compared to the Canton area. Will definitely return!

This was my first visit to Guangzhou, and I’m so glad I chose to stay at Swissotel Guangzhou. The check-in process was smooth and quick. Ms. Chloe at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided all the information I needed for my stay. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was well-maintained. Breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty dishes. I also enjoyed the buffet dinner at Café Verona — the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. At the Japanese restaurant, we had grilled eel rice, sashimi rice, and beef rice — all incredibly delicious! This trip was a happy and memorable one, thanks to the comfortable stay and excellent food at this hotel. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Swissotel Guangzhou to anyone visiting the city.

I recently stayed at the Swissôtel Guangzhou and had an excellent experience. The hotel rebranded from Hotel Nikko Guangzhou in March 2025, and while the design largely retains its original look, everything felt well-maintained and comfortable. I had booked a standard room, but to my pleasant surprise, I was upgraded to a suite upon check-in — a very generous gesture. Since the Executive Lounge was temporarily closed, the hotel offered complimentary dinner buffet for two at the restaurant on the ground floor as compensation for the Happy Hour benefit. I was truly impressed by this level of hospitality. The dinner buffet was absolutely amazing — featuring crayfish, a wide variety of seafood, Chinese BBQ, abalone and sea cucumber rice soup, seared steak, and many more delicious dishes. The staff were warm and welcoming, and even took the time to introduce the hotel’s culinary highlights and invite me to return again. To be honest, I hadn’t expected too much since the hotel is quite far from the city centre, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. If I return to Guangzhou in the future, I would definitely choose to stay here again.
