Cons: service staff at breakfast was inflexible, biscuits bought from family mart not allowed to feed a crying and hungry child at the cafe was not acceptable in my opinion

While we do have policies regarding outside food in dining areas, we should have handled the situation with more care and understanding. I went on a solo vacation to Okinawa and chose Novotel Okinawa Naha as my place to stay. It had nice rooms, a gym (very important to me), parking and reasonable prices for lodging. The hotel has a nice cafe, a restayrant and a market for any small needs. The location was convenient and easy to access, use Google maps for directions!! The staff were ALL so helpful and accomodating. 1 young lady even took it upon herself to continue calling a restaurant to secure a reservation for me while I was out exploring the island. That is definitely above and beyond in my opinion because she didnt have to do that for me and I am thankful for her. The only reason I took away a point was because parking was listed as one price (which was a determining factor before I booked), but was a higher price when I checked in and I was not made aware of that change in advance. I enjoyed my quiet stay and wouldnt hesitate to book there again in the future if needed!

I formally would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay in a Premier Room and to request some type of compensation for the inconvenience experienced. Upon arrival, I discovered that the room did not have an iron or ironing board—basic amenities that are expected at a hotel of this standard. When I contacted the management team, I was informed that the hotel was out of these items and that one would be delivered to my room the following morning. Unfortunately, no follow-up was made, and the items were never provided throughout my entire stay. As a result, I was forced to borrow an iron from another guest, which was both inconvenient and unacceptable. This reflects a failure to meet basic service expectations and a lack of follow-through on commitments made by your staff, especiallythe general manager on duty. Additionally, my room had a noticeable odor, which affected my comfort during the stay. More concerning, however, was that my friends’ rooms had a significantly stronger and unpleasant odor resembling urine, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and room maintenance standards. Given these issues—the lack of essential amenities, poor communication, and concerns regarding room conditions—I believe an appropriate compensation is warranted.

Your clean and comfortable room was making my trip special. The comfortable big bed, great quality sheets, pillows and duvet, a big soaker tub gave me great sleep. We used the pool and the laundry facility, both great.
