The hotel itself was fine. We were upgraded to a larger room due to lack of availability, although why this should happen when we booked in advance is worrying. What if no larger rooms had been available? Would we have been left with no room? The new room was small by European standards but okay for Japan. Very fortunate to have had the upgrade. Unfortunately, our initial impression was unpleasant due tot he overpowering chemical smell permeating the entire hotel. This did not begin to recede until the last day of our stay. Another disappointment was the pool. One of the reasons we booked was that the primary image used to promote the hotel was the infinity pool. Looking back it was listed as 'seasonal', but why use a seasonal image as the main draw of your hotel? Anyway, we were told on checking in that we could not use it. Disappointing since we had looked forward to it, and my partner had only just purchased a swimsuit in Naha that morning on realising that she had forgotten to pack her own. Bathing by the pool was something we very much looked forward to. On finding out this was not possible, despite the blazing sunshine (I got sunburnt) and mid-20s temperatures, we resigned ourselves to simply chilling by the pool with some snacks and wine. But even that was not allowed. Pretty ridiculous, and enough to put a damper on our first day when we had just taken an overnight flight and wanted nothing more than to relax. Another minor thing. On arriving at the hotel we were exhausted and hungry, having left our home to hit the airport just after midnight and only arrived at the hotel at 9 or 10, at which time we could not check in. We asked the desk staff where we could go nearby for a coffee and some food, and were literally told "Uhh, there?" with a point to the bar in the lobby. Seriously? Other than that, it was fine. The breakfast buffet was good, the bed was comfortable, the water hot. I also found the staff in the lobby bar to be exceedingly friendly and helpful, moreso than the desk staff. They're to be commended. And the chocolate and raspberry cake there was wonderful. Why so few local drinks on sale though? Overall, it was a good stay but I'd have been annoyed if we hadn't managed to get a cheap deal and an upgraded room.

I usually choose Novotel when I travel abroad. So this time I stayed at Novotel Okinawa Naha. The room is wide and very clean, I love it. My breakfast every morning was so delicious, nice and varieties. Unfortunately, I had to queue and wait because it was so crowed. I really liked services at the front desk because stuffs are so friendly and helpful. I took a public bus from hotel just two stop to Asato Monorial station, very convenience.

This is my first time in Okinawa. The island is rich of Chinese and Japanese culture. I also love to try local foods here. My highlight was whale watching,not in the ocean, but in the huge tank at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Of course my mission has been completed. I actually stayed at Novotel Okinawa Naha. The hotel front desk staffs were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was so nice and varieties. Unfortunately it was very crowed every morning, I had to queue and wait. You can take a public bus only 2 stops to Asato Monorail station, very convenience.

It’s a great holiday for a group of ten to celebrate our parents’ 60th anniversary in Okinawa. Novotel is new with modern furnishings and an in-house convenient store to close at midnight. Its central location is close to various popular sight-seeing places. Staff are friendly and always ready to help. We have a memorable teppanyaki dinner in Toki where you can enjoy the food while watching the chefs’ cooking.

Enjoyed my stay and would have loved to have the time to enjoy the facilities and hospitality of your team. The room was perfect and so were the facilities and bar at the lobby - very spacious and good spot to rest, chat and catching on reading or work. Appreciate the room upgrade that was offered to my family. :-) Am imperfection though was the miscommunication of check in time. I received an e-mail on 18 Dec at 8.18am informing me that I make check in before 11am. I've thought it was a lovely gesture and headed down only to discover it was not the case. The first statement in the e-mail stated "Check in by 11:00 on Friday" and it was repeated in the same e-mail ... Not long now until your stay! Don’t forget you can check in before 11:00 on Dec, 20 2019. When I arrive, the Reception was clueless and informed me that check in was 3pm and there were no rooms avail. She took a photo of my e-mail and would have been great if the outcome of the investigation was relayed to me in some way. I checked in my luggage and returned later for the usual check-in. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay. Wishing you and the team and Happy New Year.
