From the moment we checked in, the staff demonstrated a complete lack of basic customer service. There were no greetings, no assistance, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Upon arrival, we discovered that we had been allocated an incorrect room. When we requested an upgrade, we were simply told that the hotel was fully booked. However, when we checked the hotel’s official website, multiple higher-category rooms were clearly available for booking. Despite this, no effort was made to accommodate us or offer a solution. Furthermore, the room category we originally booked was located in a building that was completely closed due to the so-called “off-peak season.” This means the hotel sold a room type that was not even operational at the time of our stay. As a result, our booked room did not exist, and yet no alternative or upgrade was offered. Overall, this experience reflects poor management, misleading booking practices, and an urgent need for improvement in customer service standards.

Satisfied with premium Rixos quality but dissatisfied with not being able to visit Land of Legends. Shuttle days were limited by hotel to two days only and those days did not suit us. Our plan was to visit Land of Legends on our last day which was Wednesday and there was no shuttle that day.

Good facilities - when open. Kids loved the pools, water slides and sports facilities. However we were disappointed that opening hours of various things reduced over the second half of our stay. Pool Villa was really nice and general appearance of the hotel is great. Food was ok but didn't seem to match what was promised. It was hard to book the a la carte restaurants - many were fully booked 3 mins after bookings opened. Also the number of restaurants available kept reducing through the week (without the hotel making this clear). The buffet was ok, although food allergen labelling was inconsistent e.g. the same dish contained dairy one day and not the next. Not great when you are relying on them. Service was good to start but really tailed off during the week. Our whatsapp concierge's last message was they were going on a break for a few hours but after that we didn't hear from them again for last 2 days of the holiday. As a result we weren't told various facilities were shutting early/entirely. e.g. food court shut a day before we left, waterslides shut abruptly on our final day at 1pm with no notice. Overall hotel was ok. Hard to know whether our experience was standard for end of summer season in Oct/Nov, we were just unlucky, or the hotel made some late decisions based on low occupancy. On balance wouldn't go back.

Positive aspects: interesting entertainment, rope park and aqua-park, fitness classes, lovely quite area, good spa, adequate room size Negative aspects: food quality, restaurants’ booking experience, the last one is a real disaster.

I was dissapointed with the freezing water at the waterpark, my child didn't use it because of cold water- and the waterpark was main reason for choosing your hotel. I'm glad that there was a pool with heated water- but there should be 1-2 slides in it , esepecially in the baby pool. The food was another dissapointing aspect: untasty, very repetitive, almost everyday the same food even for lunch and dinner, the meat was tough and tasteless. The juices ( good idea but too watery and not tasty), I loved the herbal teas. I had to search for teaspoons everyday, the waiters didn't bring them, despite my complaint to the manager, and representatives, it wasn't changed which was frustrating, it seems that the hotel saves on teaspoons- that's ridiculous. The activities- kids club was great, but activities for adults were satisfactory- the archery instructor didn't check whether the people properly put on the safety protection which resulted in small injuries in many people. The bars and drinks were great.
