Mark W Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Wifi didn’t work, which was problematic as I needed to work and booked this hotel specifically because it had a desk. Reported this issue to the staff several times: one person was friendly but didn’t fix the issue, while another was rude and acted like it was unreasonable of me to expect the wifi to work. Room was not serviced until well into the afternoon (despite having put a “please service” sign on the door for several hours) and they left dirty mugs. The advertised “king bed” was just two singles pushed together, and sleeping on the middle slightly did my back in until I realised. Overall it felt like the place wasn’t providing the advertised amenities and so I would not recommend. They would be better to advertise themselves more accurately - ie wifi, (effectively) no housekeeping, no king bed.

Hotel by the water with beautiful views. My room was big, clean and sunlit. I haven't encountered any problems whatsoever and will recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone wanting to visit Port Macquarie.
