Bit old and dated, comfy bed, but expensive for what you got.

We arrived at 7:45pm, the receptionist barely looked at me, gave me a map. her instructions were vague. We were instructed how to enter the carpark and to look for 'Hotel Guset' signs. We were assigned 821 or 812, we went up and down the lufys looking for level 8. there is no level 8. We rang the after hours number, they had no idea of the hotel because it is a generic Mantra after hours number. After an onerous and exhausting time, we eventually found our room up two flights of stairs. Three women in their 60s having to lift the heavy bags up 2 large flights of stairs. Absolutely a horrible situation and service.

I recently stayed at Mantra The Observatory in Port Macquarie and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very comfortable and in a quality location, close to Town Beach, making it easy to enjoy the coastline and nearby walking tracks. The rooms are spacious and very clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The views from our apartment were absolutely sensational and really added to the overall experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Port Macquarie. It’s a great option if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and beautiful views.
