Kitchen pots (large pot and frypan) are of a low quality, frypan no longer non stick and large pot to cook pasta could not be bought to boil. Cutting knives should be sharper. Bedroom with two single beds was full of moths (30+) took quite some time to get them outside. Location is great and the view excellent. Apartment is a good size.

We had a lovely stay. The room was fantastic with beautiful ocean views. We should have planned to stay longer. Disappointing the Italian restaurant wasn’t open but the bowling club was a great option.

Stayed many times before, good location but just very expensive for a pretty basic hotel. Staff are friendly, rooms clean, pleasant stay

As we booked at the last minute in school holidays and there were only two of us, we had to take a 2-bedroom apartment. It was very spacious and well-appointed though more than we needed for 1 night. The downside was there was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs from the carpark. But there was access to the main hotel and pool area through a gate in the back garden.

We do offer other apartment types with lift access, and we’re always happy to assist guests in finding the best option for their needs when booking. We decided to book a stay half way between Sydney and Gold Coast. This apartment is so dated, tired, beds uncomfortable, TV is small, carpet is 20 years old. Couldn’t wait to leave first thing in the morning. Next time we will keep driving straight to the Gold Coast

When we checked in, we were excited to stay. The building is in a great location and staff at reception were friendly and helpful. We enquired about staying an additional night, and as it was going into peak rates, we knew the price would be more expensive, however it was almost 3 times the rate we had paid. This is one of the largest increases I have ever seen between peak and off peak at a hotel. We then proceeded to park, whilst they state a 2m height, the carpark roof is lower than this across most of the carpark, which only allowed us to open our boot part of the way. When we arrived at our room, we saw our balcony faced the other tower, with views directly into our bedroom and lounge, and vice versa to the opposite apartments. We did not use the balcony as we had absolutely no privacy. Even when in the living area, with the blinds drawn, we still did not have privacy as they are sheer and do not block the view from neighbours. There was only a small AC in the living area, which made our sleep very uncomfortable, as was the bed. Although the apartments are spacious, I would not stay again as our overall comfort was below average standard.

You booked one of our Courtyard Tower Apartments, which are positioned within the courtyard of the property, with apartments facing each other across the central area. I appreciate that this means the outlook and level of privacy can be different from our ocean-facing accommodation, and I’m sorry this wasn’t what you had anticipated. We have noted your feedback and will reach out to the owner to discuss your recommendations. We also understand your comments regarding the additional night rate. Rates can vary depending on demand and availability, particularly as we move into peak periods, although I appreciate that the difference you experienced was substantial.
