We had an air con problem on the first night & Catherine from reception promptly relocated us to a similar room & followed it up with us. Then on the secon day we had an issue with the breakfast probably due to a misunderstanding between us & the breakfast start. Again Catherine promptly appologised for that issue & corrected it so on Mother's day we had a full breakfast . Thank you Catherine.

That being said I'm thrilled that Catherine was able to resolve that for you, she is very proactive in that sense. I'm also pleased the confusion over breakfast was resolved. A brief 3 night visit to Port Macquarie. Staff and location were great. Room was in need of some attention. Bathroom was a little disappointing as mould on shower screen and a loose tile. Good parking but extra charge

Booking in, not pre booked, was very easy. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. Room was verry nice, clean and well appointed. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. Meal was very good.

We were there for a brief business meeting. All good with staff, food and parking. I couldn't get the footy on TV but that is a very minor issue. I like Sky Sports.

Overnight stay during travel to a holiday destination. The hotel was well located and clean with all the features expected for this type of accomodation. The staff at checkin and checkout were very efficient professional and friendly. We dinned at the hotel restaurant and the food good quality at a reasonable price. The bar area was a bit small but staff very efficient and friendly.

The kitchen is sensational. The food was very good. The rooms too were good, spacious, clean and functional. If I had any criticisms it was that a) there was no bottle opener in the room, b) the bathroom is cramped and poorly laid out and pillows are too big and firm (I like flat ones). That said, I appreciate these are all 1st world problems and I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

Both iteams I will raise with out housekeeping team. I'll check on our pillow menu range as we really shuld have some alternate pillows for your to have a comfortable sleep if you don't like the ones in your room. Your feedback on the hotels pricing is noted. We do our level best to ensure our pricing is competitve for our guests. As you can imagine compaired with an AirBNB we do have some regulatory requirements that mean that hotels are a costlier proposition to operate. We also make invesments both in terms of staffing and technology to ensure that our hotels are secure and safe environments, such as digital door locking mechanisms and maintaining a reception desk for extended hours. This is a critical point of difference between us and other forms of accommodation. Disappointing. The hotel is is run down, particularly our guest room. The bedding was clean and comfortable, however the carpet was dirty and thick dust caked the free standing flow lamp behind the armchair where a pair of socks from a previous occupant had left them. The strong room deodoriser had us escaping for air on the balcony, only to be greeted by cigarette smoke from a guest on the balcony next to ours. The Synergy bar was a let down with another unfortunate experience too long to discuss here.

Great location, the staff were all really lovely and helpful. The bathroom is in need of a bit of a spruce up but it was clean. The bed was so comfortable and we felt comfortable and relaxed. Really enjoyed happy hour and the meal in the restaurant was brilliant. Really enjoyed the stay will stay again.

Stayed at the Mercure Centro Port Macquarie overnight on way to our destination. The staff at the hotel were all friendly, efficient and courteous and answered all our questions. The room was as expected and as described on the Accor web site. All the amenities we needed were there and the equipment in the room all functioned as expected. We used the restaurant for dinner and the food drinks and staff all as expected. The hotel has a small bar area but it was sufficient for when we visited.

The initial experience wasn't good the young girl with tattoos up her arm was very dismissal and unhelpful and didnt offer any sort of welcoming,our booking in time was 1 oclock and she told us to come back at 2 oclock wich we did there was another lady there who was very helpful and professional while the tattoo armed girl ignored us. Beside the tattooed armed girl our stay was enjoyable the room was comfortable and being a Gold accor member we were upgraded. We had an enjoyable meal and a comfortable night sleep.

We stayed for 2 nights for a basketball competition, both of our games started at 8am so we were required to be out early. We chatted to the staff about our included breakfast, they worked around our problem and found a solution. There was a gorgeous receptionist on duty on Sunday morning who sorted out some booking and payment stuff for us, she was divine! We also kept running into staff members in the lift, they were hilarious! Just lovely!

Nice easy hotel to find and nice and close to loads of amenities. Great parking, friendly staff and a very tasty breakfast and dinner. We only stayed one night as we were traveling from the Gold Coast to Sydney but we would like to visit this hotel again in the future for a little longer.
