I felt disappointed by the room. I noticed the carpet near the side tables of the bed felt wet and damp. The pillows were lumpy. When I stepped into the shower the floor was slimmy, hence no shower! I noticed a (buzzing sound) in the room which was too loud to fall asleep to. It was coming from the bar fridge, which I had to switch off to be able to sleep in a quiet room. I did let the receptionist know this as well as the floor of the shower. On a positive note the bed was very comfy.

We booked a King Room with balcony for only one night, on the way home from Queensland as we have done many times in the past. After checking in we were not happy with the view from our room - overlooking a carpark - so we were upgraded to a larger corner room with balcony and excellent views which was greatly appreciated. The continental breakfast the following day was excellent value - a great selection of fresh fruit, muesli, yogurt, pastries and breads. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you.

We had a room upgrade on our first night to a room with a huge bathroom and a spa bath which we both took advantage of after a long day on the road and we really appreciated the upgrade. We asked if we could extend an additional night and the staff were very helpful in organising that. We were told we would have to change rooms as the one we had was booked for that night which we were happy to do. Unfortunately the room we were given the second night was very tired. The shower area had mould and the curtains when we went to draw them had rotted through at all the folds. For a hotel of this class I think it was a little sad to see such a tired room.
