This is my third time staying with Raffles, and the service was starting to feel lackluster. We came at about 1230pm to check in and the receptionist said the rooms were still unavailable and that they are fully booked. Then she proceeded to usher us to the lounge in 12th floor. Then the lounge staff also offered us tea. The receptionist did not tell us how long we would have to wait until we waited for almost an hour plus. I almost run out of patience and I had to ask the lounge staff any updates on the room. The staff told us it would be ready in about 15 minutes. At that moment it was about 1.45pm. Should we have known that it would be a long wait, the staff should have told us so and we would have went down to have lunch first. The lounge staff also did not offer us any snacks and it was all self service except for tea. They should at least explained to us what was available when serving tea, but was instead gathering around and talking (there were 5 of them at the front desk, maybe it was meeting i dont know). We were starving and a little hangry to be honest. Then after a while it was 2pm and the room was available to us. Hence no early check in. The room was great as usual and there was even decorations of balloons and birthday mousse for my friend (as we were celebrating his birthday). At least they were able to meet my request. So we toned down a little and finally headed down for lunch. Housekeeping even gave us the pillows that we requested. However, at 4pm (somewhat early) they rang the doorbell and asked if we wanted to clean up our room (or was it evening turndown). We denied and told them to come back at 7pm. When we left the room for dinner at the lounge and came back at about 8ish, the room was still not attended to. Then it was only until about 30minutes later our room surprisingly lighted up (we had turned them off) and i got up, went to the living room to peep at the door, and there was the housekeeping's cart. Maybe he thought there was nobody inside but left immedieatly after realising we were inside. Hence there was no evening turndown for us. During our tea break and dinner at the lounge, we also noticed that the appetizers were somewhat lesser in variety and the menu had changed from 3 items to 2 items. We were only there around 5 months ago and there had been changes even before the year has passed. It was fine as the chicken was delicious and the beef, not so. Staff service was also okay. It was only the manager (pressumably from his attire) that was friendly enough to ask us about our stay, albeit a short exchange of words. That was the best service we received directly from the staff. Also the lady that was attentive to us at the lounge during dinner. Lastly we requested for late checkout but was denied as the rooms were fully booked. We only got until 1pm in the end. Hence we did not enjoy any early check in our late check out this time round. Noted that we have requested the day before that we would like a late check out and the lady said it was duly noted. I know it is subjected to availability, but really, 1pm is as good as any other hotels that we do not have membership at. Makes me wonder if the platinum status is still worth keeping.

I stayed at Raffles Jakarta for one night for a staycation with my sisters, and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish. Thank you to the entire team for their warm hospitality — we truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ciki from Concierge, which immediately set the tone for a pleasant visit. The check-in process with the duty manager, Pak Rey, was smooth and efficient, making everything feel effortless. The room was comfortable and beautifully prepared, giving us the perfect space to relax and enjoy our short getaway. Breakfast the next morning was excellent, with a great selection and attentive service that made the experience even better. We also spent some time at the pool, and it was such a refreshing and relaxing part of our stay. A special appreciation goes to our butler, Rio, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. His attentiveness and initiative made our stay feel even more personalized and enjoyable. Before we left, the check-out process was also smooth and seamless, assisted by Rizky at Reception, which concluded our stay on a very positive note. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time at Raffles Jakarta and would absolutely love to come back. ❤️❤️

I would like to commend The Raffles Services, which remain consistently impeccable, as they always have been. My satisfaction with the overall service quality remains extremely high. However, I must provide feedback regarding the Executive Lounge capacity, specifically during the evening cocktail service. There is a noticeable shortage of proper dining tables and chairs relative to the number of guests. We consistently found ourselves having to eat uncomfortably on low standalone chairs and sofas, as all suitable tables were occupied. I strongly recommend adding more dining tables and chairs to the lounge to comfortably accommodate the number of guests utilizing the evening service.
