Where to begin regarding this incredible hotel and experience? The hotel itself is an ode to the history; having retained the grandeur and opulence of previous eras while combining it with modern comforts. The hotel decor is exceptional., the rooms are gorgeous -beds are very comfortable, the gym is well equipped, the outdoor swimming pool is fabulous for swimming lengths as well as beautifully arranged for lounging afterwards, the dining spots are fabulous offering local as well as western cuisine and the elephant bar is stately yet fun and vibrant. Afternoon tea is a surprising delight that offers local as well as traditional English tea. The shops within the hotel offer a great selection of local wares. All of this would be irrelevant without the outstanding service of all the staff who are so accommodating and so helpful. Location is perfect to allow walking down to the old market, the national museum and tuk tuks ate available right outside to take you to the temples. Highly recommend this hotel, and we look forward to returning in the near future.

We stayed at the Raffles Grand Hotel D'angkor in December and also in May 2025. From the moment you enter the hotel, you are made to feel welcome and part of the family. The hotel rooms are spacious and well appointed, the hotel itself and surrounds are beautiful and I loved the large swimming pool. The hotel is close to a large supermarket and pharmacy, and it is a delightful, easy walk along the river to Pub Street and other eateries, food stalls and shops, and there is a large, beautiful park over the road. We loved the food served in both restaurants, and particularly loved breakfast time with all the choices of food available. The staff all around the hotel were great and we loved that after day 1, our breakfast coffee and juices were remembered and served once we sat at our table. Particular mention must go to Enyeng (I hope I spelt his name correctly?) who took such good care of us at breakfast and made us feel part of his family. He was so attentive to all our needs. We look forward to returning to Cambodia (and particualry to Siem Reap) soon and staying at the Raffles will be high on our list!

We had a glorious four days in Raffles. Our room was beautiful & spotlessly clean. The staff of the hotel are second to none & we felt welcome & comfortable. The hotel itself is decorated in an unstated luxurious style with lots of interesting areas to enjoy a drink. The pool area was beautiful & the pool staff were efficient friendly & unobtrusive. Overall our stay was one of the best hotel breaks we’ve ever had. Thank you to all those concerned.

This hotel was extremely elegant and well located. The staff were generally very friendly, polite and helpful and enhanced our stay. We had 2 reasons why we didn’t give it full marks. In our room the bathroom was very small and we struggled to be in it at the same time. Also when we arrived we were told that the king room we had booked wasn’t available and we were shown a twin instead. We were told only a suite was available as a king and we would have to pay extra if we wanted that. After complaining the manager intervened and we were offered a larger king later in the afternoon. A stressful beginning!
