This was our first time here. From the start our airport pick up from the hotel was there to meet us and gave us some local information. The staff greeted us warmly and continued to do so throughout our stay. They were all helpful, friendly and polite. The hotel has a lovely garden, lake and pool areas with the rooms in separate buildings to the main reception and restaurants. We were a bit disappointed with our room. It is in need of some updating as there are no electric sockets near the bed so charging phones etc was a challenge. We always take plenty of adapters and we needed them here. The bed was also uncomfortable and hard. I ended up sleeping on one of the pillows. There was a missing door stop so the bathroom door made a loud bang every time it was opened. We had ‘lounge’ access which was a shared space with a restaurant after COVID cut backs. Staff were so attentive but the combination does not work. Following our complaint the hotel did everything they could to repair the situation. Definitely 5 stars for the staff.

Enjoyed a (way too short) stay with my wife in the very comfortable and smoothly run Sofitel. Extremely attentive staff and very good food, we ate really well. Room was really comfy and we felt thoroughly looked after. The Hotel arranged a tour of Temples and w caught all the sights. So good. we will be back. Thanks !
