Great facilities and rooms but not the best services customer services compared to other fairmonts

The rooms and facilities are great but there are some points that I found them odd in services by the hotel. I used in other fairmont hotels that when reaching the hotel the person working by the door would welcome and and sometimes even open the door. In here this didn't happened and the person would either give you a stare and look. After checking in and reaching the room I was suprised that the fridge is locked and you'd need to pay deposit in order to have it opened for the mini bar regardless if you'll use the fridge for other matters. And the worst part we weren't informed about this when checking in. So imagine after having a a very long journey to reach the hotel and checking in you'd have to visit the reception again for that matter. During breakfast I was not able to find the water and noticed that waiters actually bring water bottles to table, so I asked for one of the waiters to bring be water. Instead of bring water like other tables he lashed out and told that it's located on the side and I'd have to get it myself and then he took me to the location of water. There are other incidents that made me feel disappointed and not comfortable in the hotel and I would rather not share, but I wish if they trained staff on professionalism and not to discriminate guests based of gender or where they're from.

We had booked our stay to celebrate our Anniversary and Birthday at the hotel. The stay was very satisfactory. Specially the room which had a super view of the sea and also is very spacious. Check in and check out process was very quick and efficient Room Service was good and food served hot and in time. Breakfast experience was also good and Chef Mohan I would like to thank for taking care of some hot food for my vegetarian wife. Overall would visit again. Thanks to the Team at Flame towers Baku

Room was nice and spacious. Breakfast buffet had food variety but taste was average. Very limited vegetarian hot food in buffet and room service. Location is bit far from the main city areas where all the fun is.
