As a Fairmont All Diamond Member who regularly stays at Fairmont properties around the world, I can confidently say that my experience at the Fairmont Baku Flame Towers was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the level of service was warm, professional, and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views, comfortable accommodations, and excellent amenities. The restaurant offered delicious food and outstanding service from a team that was welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. Housekeeping was equally impressive, consistently ensuring that my room was immaculate and that every detail was taken care of. A special thank you goes to Fairmont Taxi Service and specifically Mr. Camal Fərzəlizadə, who was my driver throughout the week. His professionalism, reliability, and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. Camal has a great command of English, making communication easy, and his knowledge of Baku and Azerbaijan greatly enhanced my visit. As a Canadian woman travelling alone, feeling safe is incredibly important, and Camal's professionalism and care gave me complete confidence and peace of mind throughout my stay. Quite simply, if I could have Camal as my driver at every Fairmont and in every city I visit around the world, I would. He represents the very best of hospitality and customer service and was a significant part of what made this trip so memorable. I would also like to recognize Muzaffar Farzalizade, also with the Fairmont Taxi Sevice, for an unforgettable day tour of the mud volcanoes and the Gobustan Rock Art Museum. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for sharing the history, culture, and natural beauty of Azerbaijan made the experience truly memorable and one of the highlights of my trip. The Fairmont Baku Flame Towers exemplifies the high standards I have come to expect from the Fairmont brand, but it is the people who made this stay extraordinary. The outstanding service provided by Camal, Muzaffar, and the entire hotel team made my visit to Baku one I will never forget. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

I would like to express my strong dissatisfaction regarding my stay at Fairmont. Considering the standard of the property and the amount spent for three rooms during the five-day stay for myself and my guests, the service we received was extremely disappointing. One example is the room service: a breakfast ordered around 10:00 a.m. only arrived at 12:00 p.m., after numerous follow-up and confirmation phone calls, for a very simple order consisting of scrambled eggs, cappuccino, and crepes. I strongly recommend improving this service, as the experience was extremely poor. The issues began already at check-in, where the staff was unable to resolve a payment-related issue. I experienced very poor problem-solving skills from the personnel. Another unpleasant incident concerned the room’s air conditioning: we requested assistance because the room was too warm. A technician arrived and, after a very quick check lasting only a few seconds, stated that everything had been resolved. However, the air conditioning continued not to function properly and did not cool the room. Furthermore, in one of the rooms it was impossible to open the windows and, when we reported the issue, the staff simply informed us that the opening system was broken, without offering any alternative solution. Overall, I found the staff to be poorly trained and unprepared in handling guests’ requests. The only positive aspect of the stay was the beautiful panoramic view, in addition to the clean and spacious rooms.

It was the last leg of our Baku trip. We opted Fairmont to end it well post Shahdag. Post check-in we had some issues in the room which were not been dealt earlier. At night when we came back from dinner we requested the staff again regarding the issue and they indeed assisted us with such a good way to make our stay comfortable. We spent 2 nights in Fairmont Baku.
