I stayed in #1807 from September 29 to October 3, 2026 (1) October 1 I left from the room and left several coins I prepared for my son who is collecting coins from all over the world. But when I returned in the evening they all went gone. I asked the reception so that they return. She said OK but they didn't return. During the conference I don't have time to go to city centre to change money and get coin. (2) 2 days they cleaned , took away my towels and did not put a new one. So, I wish wouldn't change anything. I could use towels for all 4 days the same towel. So, housekeeping took them and did not compensate.

As first impressions go,we were well impressed with the service offered by the check in staff Mr S ( apologies we forgot to write down his name). He was ever so friendly and helpful truly is the image of what five star customer service is. However as mentioned in the title,we expected more from the Fairmont. When we came down to relax by the pool, we were shocked to see plates of food / glasses and used towels not cleared up by pool staff . In spite of asking the pool staff if any sun loungers were available they made no effort to help. What made matters worse was that a group of young men and two women were playing music out of a giant loud speaker, drinking wine from a bottle which really lowered the tone of a five star hotel. In spite of guest complaining to the pool staff it took over 30 mins for hotel management to come over and tell the group to tone it down. We found this experience extremely stressful especially as we noticed a couple and a family walk away from the pool area with a sense of fear instead of enjoying themselves. Additionally,there was a shortage of towels and the toilets beside the spa/ indoor pool were not even cleaned and this happened on both days we visited the pools. The breakfast however was delicious and the staff were ever so polite. Overall,it's just that the pool and spa facilities which people come to enjoy is what let us down .

The hotel is in the Flame towers, so you can't have a more iconic position. The service was good, but not excellent. Nothing major but, as an example, housekeeping service was a bit random. One day the room was made in the late afternoon, turndown service was provided 1 night out of 3.

I,m a returning guest and my first stay at fairmont was excellent.during this stay with my family across 3 rooms, one room had a dirty carpet with stains and an unpleasant odour. Although we raised a complaint and the staff made an effort, the issue persisted overnight. I was hoping for the same standards as my previous visit.

I chose gold room and we were told desserts and drinks are free in Nur lounge from 2 to 4pm. And then at 11pm ( which was discomforting) reception called us and asked to pay desserts🤷🏻‍♀️
