My boys and I had a good time at the chateau over Thanksgiving. The hotel does need to improve its attention to detail though. And the grounds are still in need of repair in some places.

I really enjoyed the hotel.
I ate all my meals at the hotel and the food was very very good. My only disappointment was the last night I was there, no one made my room up towels were changed out. Bed wasn’t made up a disappointment for Hotel of your caliber.

Overpriced, no coffee or water available outside of room when restaurant is closed, none of the car electric plugs were ever available (in addition the staff advised the guests that they don’t need to follow the one hour limit. Not worth staying on site. Room was small and clean with basic items.

This hotel is amazing. The reception lounge is a magnificent open structure supported by an enourmous hexagonal-shaped fireplace with a wood-burning fireplace on each side and which are each lit and tended in the evenings. The seating in front of each fireplace is so comfortable and with bar service it is a wonderful experience in the evening. The main restaurant is amazing for both the food and the room and the service. We drove to Montebello to see the leaves change and visit some small towns in Quebec. The Laurentians and Mt. Tremblant are just an hour to the north of the hotel and the drives along winding tree-lined roads were lovely.

Enjoyed the stay, the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, from front desk to the bar service. Love the ambiance of the main lobby/building. On the last night ordered scallops from the restaurant and they were terrible. Undercooked, flavourless, and the veggies were bitter and the sauce was too acidic. Really didn't enjoy this meal

Breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING- presentation over and above- very tasty! We enjoyed our time at the pool.

I loved everything about our visit except the very strong scent in our room. I believe scented products are intentionally used in the rooms. As someone who is very sensitive to scented products, I will not be returning for that reason.

Check in was not friendly, no smile, supervisor had to step in, room and overall had no wow factor, no water in room (suite), we went for cocktails and the server told us that they were busy and that we should get our drinks ourselves at the bar, we said, is this not a Fairmont, and she begrudgingly went to get our drinks. People who were not handicapped were parked for hours in the handicapped areas, alot of noise from the room above (family) we went home to sleep and came back to the hotel the second and checked out after supper on the 3rd night, employees were smoking below our window at the receiving. Staff were not welcoming (at the pool), though servers in restaurants and food saved the day, as did your spa, I was at the hotel with a voucher that Fairmont offered me and I added an extra night, I did a walk through for potential conferences in the future
