While our stay at Fairmont Tremblant was generally good, the service fell short of the high standards we expect from the village’s most premium hotel. As long-term returning guests, we noticed a significant decline in attention to detail. Key areas for improvement: Failed Requests: Our pre-requested crib was missing upon arrival at 5:00 PM, requiring a follow-up call. Valet Negligence: Despite requesting our car be kept inside to stay warm for our two small children, it was left outside for five consecutive nights. VIP Treatment: Though booked as VIPs through a travel agency, we were asked to pay $40/night for a 'complimentary' upgrade. Furthermore, our welcome amenity has dwindled from a full fruit and cookie plate in previous years to just three cookies. Housekeeping: We frequently had to request basic glassware, and our coffee cups were delivered chipped. For the price point, we expected seamless service. It feels as though the hotel is cutting back, and we hope to see these issues addressed before our next visit.

As returning guests, your perspective is incredibly important to us, and I am truly sorry to learn that this stay did not reflect the elevated and seamless experience you have come to expect. Please accept my sincere apologies for the oversights you encountered. The crib not being in place upon your arrival, particularly at 5:00 PM after a day of travel with young children, should not have required any follow-up on your part. This is certainly not the level of anticipation we strive to deliver. I am equally concerned to read about the valet situation. When a specific request is made to ensure comfort for your family, it must be respected and executed consistently. This has been shared directly with our leadership team for immediate review and reinforcement of standards. Regarding the VIP booking and upgrade communication, I regret any confusion or disappointment this caused. Transparency and recognition of our valued guests are fundamental, and it is never our intention for an upgrade or welcome amenity to feel transactional or diminished. Your comments about the evolution of the in-room amenity have been carefully noted, and we will be reviewing this internally. The housekeeping concerns including the need to request glassware and the unacceptable delivery of chipped cups are equally disappointing. These details matter, particularly at our level of positioning, and we are addressing this with the appropriate teams to ensure closer attention moving forward. While I understand your comment about perceived cutbacks, I would like to assure you that our commitment to excellence remains unwavering. That said, your experience clearly fell short, and for that, I am genuinely sorry. Family had a great time during the week. Unfortunately I had a medical emergency and was in a hospital throughout most of the week. Desk manager was outstanding in calling the ambulance and ensuring I had immediate care. Although I did not spend most of the time at the property, I plan to return next year for an enjoyable time at the hotel. A big thank you to the staff and management who ensured my family was safe during my absence.

Your hotel feels like glorified Holiday Inn from the 1980's - no offense to Holiday Inn. Interior design of rooms and bathrooms is disgusting. We travel a lot. No way you deserve 5 star. 2 star the most. I booked 2 interconnected rooms. But, got rooms next to each other. NO MINIBAR WITH SOFT DRINKS IN 5 STAR HOTEL???!! You advertise ski valet. You have no idea what that means. Ski valet is when someone meets you outside and take your skis, and when you come next morning it waits for you outside with your room or name next to it. I had to wait in line to give my skis for storage and wait in line to get it back. And, go with ski poles in the ski boots to my room. I would prefer simple ski lockers where you can leave your equipment for the night.

We enjoyed out family ski vacation in Mont Tremblant, and Fairmont was a big part of it. Aside from excellent location, the hotel has great food options and one of the friendliest staff I've every come across.
