AC was functioning but would not change its settings no matter what I did (was set the 24 degrees celcius which is too hot for during a heatwave. 2 lights did not have working light bulbs. I could not use the mini fridge as it was only made for the hotel beverages with set slits inside. I paid 432$ for my stay (1 night, standard room with 1 queen bed) and that included a discount! Not worth the money AT ALL.

What a fabulous hotel - such a beautiful historic building in a great location. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The 'gold' benefits included non-alcoholic beverages, canapes, which was realistically dinner and a great breakfast all in the comfortable, peaceful lounge. Our only regret was only staying one night.

The hotel is nice. My experience was soured at the end, when I collected my suitcase to get changed for the airport. I’d already checked out so they told me to change in the downstairs toilet. It smelt as though it hadn’t been cleaned for a week and there was nowhere I could put my things so I had to lay them on the dirty floor. Really gross. After I’d stayed there six nights I thought they could offer me somewhere more salubrious to get changed. But I guess I’d paid my bill by that time so they didn’t really care too much.

We are local and stayed after an event at the NAC. Staff were friendly and the room was beautiful. It was great stay, the room was spacious and had great amenities (a living space and two bathrooms). We would highly recommend the hotel to both visitors and locals.

I stayed at the hotel which was also the venue for the conference I was attending. The room was spacious and had all the amenities I could ask for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great - right next to the Rideau locks and Parliament.
