I stayed for work conference. The hotel was beautiful. I was a bit disappointed that I reserved a room with a king size bed but when I got to my room it had 2 doubles instead. Otherwise it was very nice

I booked the room months in advance - high floor Fairmont view with best views of parliament and Rideau Canal We were placed in an ordinary room with tiny windows (room 614), and the critical piece -it was on average 26C in the room. Sleep was terrible. I called and asked for assistance to fix air temp. Management seemed to feel putting in 2 fans was sufficient It was not. The temp on second day was 27C often

When I checked in, I was asked what brought my friends and me to Ottawa. When I told the front desk gentleman that we were celebrating two milestone birthdays, he gave us vouchers for dessert or sparkling wine at Zoe’s. That was such a nice treat! Our corner room was nice and spacious.

All was relatively good. However, we found the menu in Zoey's rather limited in choices. Unfortunately my wife had the smoked" steak which she found too smoky.

I love being surrounded by historic charm. Fairmont chateau L. has found the perfect balance of providing modern conveniences while celebrating the history of the building. The bedding is amazing.

Rooms were not cleaned. A fridge filled with milk and other products was left from privious guests. Front desk was suppose to bring a fan to our room had to call twice to get it. When checking out we needed a cart and it 35 minutes and two phone calls at 7 Am in the morning

I am appreciated of my room being upgraded to nice view room, But I did not get my King bed as I booked instead I got Queen bed. The staff was very nice and did best to correct mistake but I have to pay 100 to get king bed in a suit. So I decide not take it since I just stay one night and tired to change the room in the late of evening. In general. I am happy to stay there.

I was staying for three nights in relation to a conference within the Hotel premises. As a first time guest I was impressed with the grandeur of the physical space, the energy of exceptional experiences was very evident. The target market of the hotel was also evident in the amenities provided and level of service offered. The simple pleasures for this guest were found in the 24 hour front desk service, the attention to detail when addressing a request or responding to a question. The care shown at the front desk was wonderful as was the housekeeping staff- beautifully kept rooms made the stay feel all the more special.

The Chateau Laurier is a gorgeous building from the outside and in the lobby. But besides that, it's pretty ordinary. The room is pretty basic, absolutely nothing special about it at all. Considering how much we paid for the room, I was not impressed. In addition, the only reason we stayed there was because I am a Accor Silver member. This hotel is not yet fully an Accor hotel, so we did not get any of the perks we are meant to get as silver members so I was not impressed at all. This was very misleading on Accor's part on their website. We were hoping for a very nice evening and we were not impressed. We decided to dine elsewhere.
