Avista Grande Phuket Karon - MGallery 5 stars

Extremely clean resort with kind and helpful staff. Hotel Reception clerk “Sun” was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and efficient Hotel Breakfast buffet was well worth the money and made for an easy start to the day. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I had a really nice time staying at the Avista Grande in Karon, its a beautiful property in a nice location, not to far from the main part of Karon beach, however I mostly used the part of the beach outside the property, as the southern end seemed a bit quieter/nicer. Now to start with the good: - The pool!! The pool is definitely the focal point of the property and rightfully so. It feels super luxurious, and is very relaxing and inviting. I did notice the pool loungers got quite full during the day, but it was easy to find a spot a bit later in the afternoon. - Pool bar. The bartender on while I was there (I forgot his name) was awesome. He was friendly and was very generous with the drinks he gave me. - The room was lovely, spacious, modern, comfortable etc. the bed was on the firmer side but still comfortable. Airconditioning worked great. - Location! as mentioned above the hotel is in a great spot, just a 5 minute walk (or less) to a beautiful section of Karon beach, close to a number of local restaurants and shops and easy enough to get to Patong etc. Now the not so good: - The lifts seem very old and are quite small. It would be hard to squeeze in more than 4 people I think. One of the lifts also had a urine smell one night when I used it. - Breakfast was nothing special. It was laid out well and there was quite a selection but I think the western section was lacking a bit. No bacon or hash browns! The baked potatos were a bit tasteless etc. - While the staff were courteous and welcoming, it seemed to be a general lack of experience, with a lot of the staff seeming quite young. The room I originally got (a deluxe pool view room) looked directly into the main restaurant, so I asked if they had any other rooms available, and although I was able to move to a sea view room which had slightly more privacy, this issue took a bit to respond and I was being told different things by different people. It was eventually sorted but a couldn't help feel like a bit of a nuisance with how much effort it took to get this done. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay and would be open to staying again if I was looking for somewhere in Karon. Its definitely more of a beach hotel than a resort but the main section and pool do feel like you've stepped into a quiet oasis in a busy tourist area,

Had a great holiday. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location not crazy busy like Patong. The Manager was unable to accommodate a late check out due to being fully booked but gave us discount on our food and beverage bill. Lots of people putting towels on the loungers early in the morning Tip don’t take the thongs/sandals they aren’t complimentary

One of the best hotel we stayed since covid we planned this holiday on a recommendation of 1 of my cousins brother who stayed at this hotel it was an amazing experience they have a very good swimming pool Very nice rooms Restaurant is also very good with a very nice serving of choice multiple options Of different cuisines. Every one was super helpful and amazing recommendations and great support from from Mr. Vansh for his excellent service and really enjoyed. We lover the hotel design. Really recommend for all travelers.

My friends and I had a great time. Amazing staff be it at the reception or in the restaurants. Loved the games room and swimming pool. Best breakfast. We will definitely come back to this hotel next year.
