Although it was only for one night, our stay was positive. The staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful providing the information that we needed. The distance to the city center is alright, it doesn't have to take too long to reach. Also there's a supermarket nearby which is very convennient

Room clean, comfortable. Parking big bonus. Proximity to tram stop great. HOWEVER, I don't like having 'Healthy Eating' forced on me, especially your No Alcohol Served rule nor the impossibility of finding a meal nearby without getting the car out or catching the tram. Lucky that Lidl is next door. Incidentally your meanness in providing tea bags etc could be rethought!

The overall experience in the hotel was good. the staff was friendly, it was well located and with good access. I liked the parking availability, it's a good perk. I did not like the smell on the 1st floor corridors, it was my first stay in the hotel and the floor smelled of food intensely, dunno if it was just a periodic episode or if it's usual.

I checked bin at 3pm had booked a privilege room which I knew had a coffee station I checked out at 12 the following day nothing and I mean nothing had been changed in all the time I had stayed at that 7th floor coffee area.My breakfast of scrambled eggs and beans were cold I stay at a lot of hotels this should not be regarded as a 4 star Hotel

On our trip to Portugal we stayed at 4 hotels, from which 3 were from Accor. Our stay at Mercure Almada was the most expensive, and unfortunately the least positive. After an Excellent stay at Novotel Eindhoven, a very nice stay at Ibis Coimbra, an Exceptional hotel experience at HF Porto (sorry Accor, HF was a class on it's own and still much more affordable than Mercure), our last station was Mercure Almada. Yes it looks nice on the outside, but inside?! I've never seen such dirty carpetry in any hotel like the ones on the 3rd floor hallway at Mercure Almada. Rooms were "okayish" (partially renovated), however the beds were a disaster, and from a very cheap quality (4 guests same opinion, so it's not a preference issue). In one of our rooms the bathroom had a bad smell, but this was solved in the morning after using the shower. Breakfast was poor, mainly because of the not so fresh bread and pastry (at any time, early or late), and the orange juice was the quality you can make yourself with powder. I don't expect freshly pressed orange juice (yes other 4 star hotels have it), but it should be at least the quality you get for 1 euro a big carton at the supermarket. ...well it was'nt. And all of this I could easily forgive enjoying a nice cup of coffee at breakfast. Well wrong again, they serve instant coffee of the worst quality; ...UNFORGIVABLE! So my question; how many stars do I need to book, to make sure I get a proper cup of coffee at Accor hotels???? (if 4 isn't enough). For the time beeing I will avoid Mercure on my trips. (btw no complaints about Novotel, and the much better "just 2 star" Ibis hotel).

After carefully analyzing your comments firstly we wish to inform that apart from the fact that our cleanliness and maintenance measures are very serious, refurbishments are being taken place over the entire hotel in order to offer more and better facilities to our guests, including a complete renovation of the corridors (flooring, wallpapers, décor, etc.) which will be concluded this March. Also rest assure that the carpets are properly and regularly sanitized although indeed some spots caused by cleaning detergents can be found. Regarding the bedding and breakfast products, as we work with highly recognized brands that have proven their quality, including fresh daily baked bread and pastry – not frozen!, we can only respect your opinion, expressing our sincere apologies with the commitment that we’ll always try our best to do more and better to (re)conquer your trust in Mercure Almada. I was so impressed by this hotel as soon as I arrived to check in, they had anticipated our needs of having a toddler with us and had a baby cot set up in our room and the entire time we stayed there we had the most excellent service.

We booked a superior room for 2 nights. In the first night we had disrupted sleep because it was too noisy from the next room. It was very disappointed for such a quality of a 4* hotel!

It was our third or fourth time staying at this hotel. When we checked in we realised why we keep coming back, everything is perfect, the rooms are clean and spacious, the staff make you very welcome, breakfast is good. We are going to plan to come back more often; Lisbon is our favourite City anywhere. Thank you for an amazing stay and we hope to be back very soon. I will book directly on my ACCOR APP or at the hotel next time.

The staff was very kind, the room was a little bit old, and I really missed a robe/hotel shoes. The breakfast was a little poor, could have more variety, like cake, other kinds of eggs and pancakes. Overall it was ok for one night stay.
